Are there any random trades or issues that you've picked up that really impressed you? These are books that you normally dont read but you gave it a try for some odd reason. Maybe it was the cover, the art, or colours. Whatever.

But now your hooked. Its your secret, guilty pleasure.

For me, it's Ms. Marvel. Liked her in HoM, Dissassembled, and NA (cameo). But never felt inclined to read her own series. Until recently. And now I find myself trying to track down back issues. Oh well.

How about you...

For me, GLA Misassembled.

I dunno, the cover of the trade looks funny enough and i love funny books.

After reading it, i've become a GLA fan, and practically trying to find every Dan Slott books i can find.

I picked up the first issue of Priest's Black Panther back when it first came out on a whim. Wasn't familiar with BP outside of Avengers, wasn't too familiar with Priest, can't really say what made me pick it up. After the first issue I stuck around for the whole run until Marvel finally closed the book down. I can't think of any current series that I've gone into blind like that, though.

I was never interested in reading Runaways. When they released the hardcover of the entire first series, I picked it up on a whim and loved it! I proceeded to get the back issues of the second series and am continuing to enjoy it every month!

Deadpool for me. Back in '97 I merely thought his costume looked cool on #1.

Surprise, surprise, he moved up to my top hero spot.

Also, the GLA, Ms. Marvel, and Ghost Rider.

Though I knew of Ghost Rider before obviously, though I never got into it until the recent relaunch.

It wasn't hugely impressive, but I dug that Union Jack trade a few years ago. He was an appealing fellow and I'm glad to see him reappear in Captain America.

I thought the Midnight Sons books were kinda cool. I was a fan of Ghost Rider and Tomb of Dracula so it seemed to make sense that I pick it up and I really ended up loving the book.

I never knew much about Iron Fist, but after reading a few of his stories I really tried to pick up anything I could featuring him.
