Unlike other folks here, I attended DragonCon for nothing more than lunch. Granted, it turned out to be a long lunch, but I didn't see the inside of anything Con-related other than the hotel lobby.

And I had trouble seeing even that. Hyatt security is unusually fierce during DragonCon. They won't even let you inside the front door to the hotel unless you 1) present your Con badge, 2) present a room key, or 3) are accompanied by a person who can satisfy #1 or 2.

The CBR lunch was fun. I unfortunately didn't end up taking any photos of the attendees, but others did. In fact, despite bringing my camera along, I only took a couple of photos of one person, Solaris' son (and Darkblade's little bro) Finn.

Or as he preferred to be called on Saturday, "Dash."

Okay, I guess we should use this thread to decompress (vs. the prep thread).

I managed to snap over 4400 photos this year, and my right index finger is one tired pup. I was thinking about dipping the finger in ice every night after a day of being a shutterbug. Heh. :)

It was the year of overlapping panel schedule for me, and I ended up just time-sharing many of the panels that interested me, so I got just a sample of many panels, and not the complete experience of most of them, except for 3 Serenity/Firefly panels, and the Sunday Mythbusters panel that finally features all 3 from the show (Kari, Grant and Tory). Since the panels were spread out all over the Hyatt, I ended up being on the move alot on Friday and Saturday.

Checked out a handful of panels on Sunday:

Buffy/Angel - can't believe it's been 3-4 years since Buffy went off the air. Still a good panel, with Nicholas Brendon heading it up, and flanked by Clare Kramer, James Leary, Anthony Cistaro, and Ken Feinberg, and then finally Andy Hallet.

Mythbusters - finally the gang is all there (Grant, Tory, Kari) after the plane for Grant and Kari suffered some mechanical troubles and a few people onboard raised an eyebrow in their direction (which is why they missed their Saturday panel, leaving Tory to fend for himself rather honorably). They showed a funny reel of Kari being wired up to capture flatuence from a female. Then they showed Adam lighting up farts and examining the slow-motion flames that emanated from his arse when he lit them. Very funny stuff, have a good time at their panel.

Serenity/Firefly - Alan Tudyk and Summer Glau continued their lovefest with the Browncoats. The lady who wrote the winning Eulogy for the Wake (for Wash and Book) got Alan to read the eulogy to the audience (especially since the Wake was in a very small room on Saturday night and not a lot of people were able to hear it, and Alan did embellish with some timely "sexy, sexy, sexy" adjectives thrown in for Wash. They had the longest autographs lines at Dragon Con this year.

Mira Furlan - stayed for about half the panel, which focused on her new role as Rousseau on "Lost". She's got a groovy accent (which helped her get cast for the role, as well).

Mickey Rooney - bopped for about 2 minutes.

Stargate - Also checked out this panel just for the sheer size of the 9 cast members from the show in the panel, a few of whom I probably won't get their names right (Erick Avari, Rachel Luttrell, Don S. Davis, Bill Dow, Cliff Simon, Claire Rankin, Torri Higginson, and 2 others whose name escapes me).

Also checked out the Miss Klingon Empire Beauty Pageant, but didn't stay long, and some robot wars in one room.

I was meandering in the Hyatt atrium area before the Masquerade and by the time I made it down to the Masquerade, the main room was filled, so I checked out the overflow room with the video feed, and was astounded by the so-so entries at the Masquerade this year, so much so that I'm sure I dozed off because one of my friends showed me some of his photos from the photo session afterwards, and I did not remember some of the contestants from the photos. But sounds like I wasn't missing much after seeing a bunch of folks staging mock fights. The stormtroopers were good about moving the show along when the acts went on too long.

The rest of the day was spent doing a bit of window-shopping in the dealer's room, walking through the mess called the Walk of Fame, and taking an obscene amounts of photos in their costumes in the Hyatt (3 levels), and the Marriott (2 levels). Left there after 2 a.m., which was late for us, but it was the last night. Whew!

I didn't even go down on Monday (today) because I was just tuckered out, didn't want to walk between the hotels to get from the panels (Hyatt), to the Dealer's room/Comics (Marriott), to the Walk of Fame (Hilton). It was ungodly how spread out this year was for all the different sections of the convention.

The Walk of Fame being in the Hilton is a colossal chore to get to, and the flow pattern was also a nightmare of funnelling the traffic through the middle aisles twice to get to both of the outer aisles of guests. There was too little room in the middle between the booths, so it was very congested and just a pain to slog through this year.

Supposedly next year it won't be as spread out as Dragon Con moves into the Hilton for one year as the other hotels undergo renovation projects in 2007.

It had to suck for the Harry Potter fans because 3 of the 4 main guests had to cancel due to scheduling problem (I think the film required more shooting by the 3 who were slated to attend, Katie Leung, Matthew Lewis, Warwick Davis), and that meant the panels for HP were cancelled.

Patman has me beat. I took 605 pictures.

Whose Line rocked. Meg/Chibi played in the first competition and in the Finals, and did a pretty good job.

I had lunch with Loren on Friday. That was a blast.

The CBR lunch was groovy. Charles RB is pretty damn cool. That fake British accent really classed the lunch up.

The Shindig started slowly, but ended up being a lot of fun. The Colonial Days party was surprisingly awesome. Hardly anybody was there.....except Baltar, Helo, the Chief and a bunch of Browncoats.

Just got in from the eight-and-a-half hour flight home. MY BACK CRIES.

Plus I had to check in at 3.50 and this required me to leave the Brotherhood of Damn Sassy Mutants play early, which also makes me cry (and based on their ads, makes Charmer cry too).

There were panels I meant to go to, but I kept forgetting they were on and/or being too lazy to look them up - but I managed the Buffy cast Q&A. Funny guys!

Going to the CBR Luncheon got me encouraged to go to the Cruxshadows concert, which led to me spendings lots on CDs. When Halifax sends people round to break my legs for being a 'orrible little debtor, I'm blaming Jasper. Plus I learnt from the luncheon where $1 coins came from!

And there were so many Stormtroopers that I was confused and disoriented by the lack of them (due to cosplays being packed away) on Monday. Dragon*Con without Stormtroopers is just... wrong.

That fake British accent really classed the lunch up.

Damn, how'd you realise I'm secretly Swedish?!

Work is dragging, and I'm wiped despite getting real sleep last night. Oi. o_O

I flat out forgot to hit the Stargate panels and stuff. T_T Ragh. Oh well. Christopher Judge cancelled, and that's who I wanted to see most of those on the guest list.

Some friends picked me up from the airport Thursday night, had a bit of trouble with flight delays and such due to the storms. Went up to Solaris and BJW's, to find an exhausted little Dash laying on the swing with Mom. He was trying to stay awake till we got there, but he was totally konked out. He was happy to see me though, if not a little confused. :)

Friday was trying to get stuff together and get down to the convention, overheating on the MARTA and going between hotels, getting people checked in, trying to get badges, finding out they ran out of badges and we'd have to wait a while, and a bunch of other chaos. Hit a party briefly friday night, but it was just too dang loud and crazy. Actually got a large chunk of sleep, which was quite needed. Costume during the day friday was green velvet long vest/skirt, with black leggings, boots, green velvet bell sleeves, black corset, and a dragon belt with a sword. I can't remember if I changed friday night or not. T_T I think so... we tried to hit a Harry Potter panel, but couldn't hear a dang thing in the back of the room, so we abandoned it. Ran into Chibi in her MRAP costume.. baby sister ain' such a baby anymore.

Saturday was sleeping til noon, and waking up in a hurry to try and get things together for the CBR lunch. Donna Troy costume requires a lot of sparklies. Sparkly hairspray does not feel good when applied to one's eardrum. Ow. In the interest of real food and catching up with my folks and Dawn and Perry, my friends came with. :) We got down there a bit late, but beat Mom. Muwahaha. It was great to see everybody, and Jasper had a cool costume and a KICKASS staff. I got to catch another of my sibs and avoid drama to boot on the way back to the hotel room to get meds and my wheelchair. \o/ Saturday evening was Ninja Schoolgirl. Black vinyl halter top, red plaid skirt, fishnet kneesocks, laceup boots, and a sword. Brekke wore a similar outfit, we were the bodyguards for the Mardi Gras Pirates. ^_^ (Couple friends who ran around plundering women, which is to say gifting beads to those they saw fit and taking pictures of them wearing them as proof.) Got a bit overpeopled and went up to the room a while, tried to hit another HP panel but it was closed as being full just as we walked up. Went by V's room party, got 'gnomed, and then headed out with Dawn & Greg for a while. Eventually escorted them back to their hotel at 5am, came back, got doughnuts and milk, and then fell into bed.

Sunday! ... comfort was decided to be a priority, so B and I wore our matching "Sweet and Sinister" tshirts with jeans, boots, and daggers. We hit a panel on Editing that quite quite enjoyable, and were surprised to find people rearrange themselves when we walked into the room and were dismayed to find there wasn't much of anything in the way of seating. A few folks saw us leaning on our canes and reshuffled themselves so that we could sit, one gentleman giving up his chair entirely to sit on the floor. Afterwards we hit the ConSuite for free food and sodas, and then made it to the Dealer's Room 30 minutes before it closed. Somehow we managed to peruse the entire thing, mentally marking places to come back the next day. Caught up with Dex Vines, chatted a few minutes and told him to pass hugs to Nikki. Btw guys, she's doing alright, was taking care of her dad after minor surgery this weekend.

Sunday night meant the Yule Ball and Faerie costumes, mine was a sheer wrap in dark metal tones and gold dragon wings with sandals. (Thank you for loaning me the wings, Mom! I accidently packed them, I'll bring them back when I visit again. T_T) We only caught a few of Emerald Rose's songs before they got off stage and we left, which was a good thing since I can't help but try and dance to their music. Much of it is quite bouncy. :) We caught up with my folks and Dawn and Perry in the Hyatt, got our pictures taken for Girls of Dragon*Con, hung out a bit and went back over to our room to hang out for a while. Had a brief bit of fun with broken glass, but I only took minor injury so it's all good. (Alcohol on glass cuts stings like a *coughexpletivedeleted* though.) Someone in housekeeping came up soon after we called asking for a vacuum, and he thanked us for reporting it right away. (Also said it was one of the easier things he'd had to clean up.) Caught up with some more friends briefly, wandered around a bit doing more costume watching, and finally stumbled back upstairs and to bed.

Monday! Dealer's Room! Well, scurried packing, THEN Dealer's Room, followed by hitting the Q&A with Todd McCaffrey panel. It was a ton of fun, he's really lively. I told him how I found the DragonSong/Singer/Drums trilogy and asked if anyone has the option to it. He said someone DID have it for a tv show, but it's a good thing it didn't happen because it was going to include things like Thread falling because someone in space pushed a button. T_T After that, my friend and I hit the Exhibitor's Hall in the Marriott and managed to get all of that done before I had to leave as well. Unfortunately, I was not able to make Chibi's MRAP performance of BDSM. :( Did anyone record it?

Oh! On our way out of the hotel, Ray Park stopped me in the lobby to ask how I'm doing. ^_^ He's a sweet man and always asks how I'm doing at cons and stuff.

Now for: The Loot! I took a limited amount of cash with me to eat and buy stuff with etc, and only put two things on the bank card. (I allowed myself a budget, but took less cash than the budget allowed for.) I got:
-Another katana letter opener to use for a hairstick. (I've one that's 7 years old and wanted a backup.) $5! The first one I got years ago cost nearly $20.
-A throwing knife for my friend, on sale.
-A fairy petal skirt for her daughter. It was $8, and I'd missed her birthday.
-A naginata!, also on sale. :) Friend's gonna ship it to me.. something about over a foot of live steel on a plane makes TSA nervous. (Wouldn't fit in my suitcase.)
-A pair of unicorn stud earrings to replace a similar pair I lost years ago, also on sale due to finding a coupon.
-Beautiful art print, which I'll mat and frame next time I'm in Atlanta before shipping it. (I was good, I only bought ONE piece of art.)
-Dice! Another tube of mini d20 dice for me, and one for my friend. She's never had them before, as our D&D games are online and use a program for dice.

I saw a LOT of Doctor costumes this year, though none of the 9th or 10th Doctors. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any of the books I know are high on Tadhg's list, and didn't have the whole print out to compare. *sigh*

Various points of the con had a lot of sick and being in pain, but they were totally thrown in shadow by the amount of fun I had. :)

Thanks!

My Mom's health problems kept me away from the gym at the end. I am about 49 lbs lighter than I was when you first met me.

So I missed my Dragon Con goal by 5 lbs. I'm really proud of my progress thus far, and I'm hoping to get to my true, fighting trim by New Year's Day, 2007!

I drank a LOT

I partied a LOT

I passed out early (not a LOT), but twice. . .first Dragon*con where I managed to miss both Cruxshadows AND Rocky Horror.

I actually went to a few panels this year (mainly the Sid and Marty Krofft ones -- "Land of the Lost" and "Sigmund" were great, w/ most of the cast there to provide running commentary on the eps. . it was a shame the panels weren't more crowded, as Rip Taylor was a hoot in the Sigmund panel).

Saturday was fun, and I enjoyed the lunch. . but too bad I managed to miss both Perez/Wolfman and the Romero/Savini panels that I had been saying for days that I wasn't going to miss. . even if I had to leave the lunch early.

Friday was bass-akwards day, as I somehow managed to never see: Don, Rags, Jasper, or Azangel the entire day, but managed to bump into Meg, then Troy, Chris, and Finn. . and we hung out about 45 minutes by the Hyatt Pool chatting. Glad I got to see them, because I never saw them the whole rest of the con.

bought lots of fun stuff, and the Aquarium on Thursday was worth every penny -- THEY HAVE WHALE SHARKS!

good to see Loren, and glad he came to the lunch (good luck on the Political race. .I think you have a good shot), and don't remember seeing Patman at all. . did he show up?

In the busy Marriott hallways during the weekend, Brian Stelfreeze actually tapped me on the shoulder to say "Hi!" as we were going in opposite directions, and he had his entourage of comely females with him. :) I'm surprised he'd do that, but he's a cool cat.

I'm typically the one taking the photos, but a cute redhead had one of her friends take a photo of me and her in it. It was an odd experience since I'm usually behind the camera, not in front of it. They'll probably photoshop some scary looking person next to me in the photos. Heh.

the con is huge. . I think it gets somewhere between 30-40,000 people.

this year was easily the most crowded I've ever seen it. . the halls were packed, the panels were (mostly) packed, the parties were overpacked.

you should have seen the registration lines on Saturday ! We passed thru it on the way to the lunch. . . wrapped all the way around the Hyatt, and 3 blocks down. One of my friends (who happens to be the Concierge) told me that they had to cut the line off, and stop selling due to the capacity.

I'm betting that when the official numbers come out, it's going to be in the high 30,000's range.

and yep, Finn was Dash both days he was at con. I have a pic of him "triumphing" over my My Pet Monster toy from when I say Chris/Troy/Finn at the pool.. . .

Hello to all my fans! I just wanted to post my side of the story.
I was the very cute little singing superheroine who got interviewed on national television, wearing my 2006 official interview look.
At least I looked very cute in that outfit.
And, I personally welcomed all the fans and guest stars to Dragon Con!

The next day, I got to wear my heroic concert look, which is a purple velvet dress with brown velvet leggings, blue cape, fingerless weightlifting gloves and cute little boots.
My concert at Dragon Con was indeed standing room only.
I was able to sing about Superstellar of the Justice Force, got to sing "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)", sing a rendition of "Hello Dolly", which was called "Hello Suzie", as in tribute to Suzie Barrows, aka Reverend Suzie The Floozie! I even sold all my CDS that I had as well, and the Justice Force Pets, led by Danny Boy, The Fabio Swiss Collie, got to look cute and did some tricks.

On Sunday, I got to wear my red dress and blue leggings.

On Monday, the last day of the con, I got to wear my Pink And Black striped dress with black leggings.

However, there was one disappointment.

I was very disappointed with Jason Carter, best known for his role as Marcus on Babylon 5.
He did NOT show proper convention ettique by not showing up, he also did NOT have the nerve to call the Dragon Con people that he was NOT coming.

Not only that, this little songbird of Justice Force is so ticked off because of this, that he is going to be in very HOT WATER with not only myself, but his co-star, Robin Atkin Downes and he WILL NOT LIKE IT! :p

I will tell you that on the last day of the con, I was supposed to get an award, but Mr. Pat Henry politely explained that it will be next year at the first Dragon Con meeting of the year that I will get this award.

At least Rick Sapphire and I signed an exclusive agreement, in which he will represent me to help me promote my movie, in exchange he brings William Katt to Dragon Con next year.
He was very amazed and stunned to hear that William Katt has NEVER been to Dragon Con and I told him that it was high time and long overdue that he should be invited.
Who knows? It might lead me to helping television's Greatest American Hero finally get into the information age with his very own website, guestbook, bulletin board service, and his very own online store at Cafepress.com, which would really be truly outrageous!

I should mention that I may have ran into some you fans from Comic Book Resouces and may have signed your books. I want to say thank you all for coming to Dragon Con and thank you for having the honor of seeing me perform for you all.

Until we meet on the net...........
Yours In The Fight For Justice,

I would bet cash money one of the nights you passed out was Sunday. When I saw you outside the con suite I was thinking Jasper, Casey and me were going to have to carry you up to your room.

hmmm. . .

I don't recall even seeing you on Sunday, Don (tho I do remember Jasper and her two friends).

I wasn't "pass-out" drunk when I saw them, I was just really, really tired, and my room was being "occupied". . . I tell you there is nothing worse than walking in on someone, and having to ask,

"are y'all just finishing, or just starting?"

and the answer is "just starting". . .

sheesh. . I had to go kill a half hour.

bert
09-05-2006, 08:16 PM
I should mention this, because it was funny. . I think I may have told Jasp. . but I don't remember who else. . .

so I'm down in the bar, waiting to meet up w/ a con friend, and I haven't yet changed out of my "Pleather" pants and buckle boots -- since I later that night changed into fishnets for Rocky (even tho I ended up not going)

I was also wearing a Siouxsie Sioux shirt -- open, exposing my pretty hairy chest -- and an eye pendant that kept getting referred to as the Eye of Agamoto . . but no face make-up or weird glitter.

I'm buzzed, from the Outworlders party punch, but not really messed up.

and this guy leans over to me, who was probably a little more drunk than I, and says,

"so. . what are you dressed as"

I just look back at him and say, "I'm not "dressed as" anything. I'm wearing what I chose to wear tonight"

his wife looks horrified, and tries to pull him away from me. . so I leaned in and said, "AWK-WARD ! "

he looks back for a second, and then (I suppose, thinking that he's going to get the last word in), leans in and says loudly,

"oh. . I thought maybe you were dressed up as Ron Jeremy"

so I responded just as loudly, "oh, you noticed my massive cock thru my pants ? "

his wife was laughing as she dragged him off by his collar.

I'm still trying to decide if he was trying to insult me, or pay me a compliment.

Got back Monday night, and after having dinner with the friends I rode with spent the rest of that night and all day Tuesday recovering. There's nothing like a whole day off doing nothing to help you decompress from Dragoncon.

Spent a lot of the Con playing DarkConfrontation, a LARP I play every year. Gaming being in the Hilton this year made it a major pain when I wanted to take a break from that to go do something else, but other than that things weren't that bad. Played an angel, fought ninjas, saved the world, and enjoyed copious amounts of alchohol at the after-game room party every night. Not a bad way to spend a weekend.

Managed to catch some panels, mostly Stargate ones, but at least one for Battlestar Galatctica. Unfortunately I missed President Baltar's State of the Colonies Address. I really wanted to be there when he threw open the floor to questions. Also couldn't get into a Firefly panel on the Miranda Conspiracy due to the room being too packed. Oh well, I'm glad I got to see what I did.

CBR Lunch was cool as always. Getting to talk to CBR people face to face was enjoyable. I'll add a ditto to those who said it was great to meet Charles RB there.

Spent some in the Dealer's room, but I managed to keep it within my budget. Mostly picked up discounted rpg's and trade paperbacks.

My only regret is I didn't get to squeeze in any concerts at all this year. I even missed Voltaire, who I make it a point to catch at least once every year.

All together it was a great convention. Looking forward to next year's.

Baltar didn't come in character.

It was simply the cast talking about the show and answering questions. They wouldn't say anything about the coming season.

It was a very fun panel.

The programs were wrong in a few cases. Sometimes it was do to unforeseen circumstances - like Adam Baldwin simply not being able to make it to the Con period, and sometimes it was because the people in charge just screwed up.

I'm friends with the wife of one of the artists in the artist signing area (where Adam Hughes, Feldstein, etc. were) and they were only there Saturday. But she told me somebody scheduled him to do a panel on sequential art on Sunday, when he doesn't do sequential art, and he had flat out told them he could only make it Saturday.

I know. I expected him to. A lot of people did.

I always find it interesting to see which cast members take charge in panels.

IMHO, it was Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol) who led the panel.

I didn't go to the Rocky Horror show. We left right after godhead got off stage. They pushed Godhead off in a hurry only to have the crowd wait an extra hour and a half.

I figured after 20 years of doing it Dragon con staff would have it right once in a while.

But there are lots of great things about the con. I had a blast. I can't say I did many things really, two concerts and a panel. I ran into a lot of people as I wandered between the con stuff. Charles RB is a nice guy. It was great to meet you. I am just glad I got to see the CBR group again. Bert, Azangel and I had a blast at the aquarium. We never made it to the zoo though.

I asked the guys in the band about that on Monday. They said they were not forced off the stage; they never planned an encore. They have a new drummer and they played almost every song he knows. Rather than play some songs poorly, they just ended the show.

Whether this is true or if they were just trying to be nice about it, I don't know. I got the impression they were trying to be nice.

(By the way, their new CD is great.)

Worse immediately after Dragon Con.

Better now.

They moved her to another hospital while I was away on the theory that the other hospital would be better.

The other hospital did nothing except repeat tests from the previous hospital and give her a MASSIVE amount of pain medication.

I went into detail in Rita's. She's at the original hospital, getting physical therapy and being weaned off the pain meds.

Oh, that sucks. I only went into the room the con was using for the Walk of Fame and some dealers, but that place seemed like the smallest of the three hotels. And it's a fuckin' long walk if you aren't staying at one of the (more expensive) main hotels.

from what our buddies who work at the Hyatt told us, next year will be using the Hyatt and the Hilton, (and possibly some of the Marriott meeting rooms, but not the Exhibitor hall or dealer's room).

best person to answer this is Darkblade. . but I definately left Atlanta w/ the impression that the con will have the Hyatt as the main hotel, w/ the Hilton for all the Exhibitors halls/ Dealers rooms/ and gaming.

I was talking to one of the dealers on Sunday, and he was already bemoaning the one single point of entry/exit at the Hilton for dealers to bring in their wares on the street level in the back. It's going to be messy for them, for sure.

It's probably going to feel like the year when Dragon*Con was hosted at the Hyatt and the Apparel Mart, which was also 2 blocks away, and a totally a pain to get to/from the Hyatt.

I detailed the reasons why we weren't at the Con much this year in my "Where have I been?" thread...

We had fun in the time we did spend. The Luncheon was great, as always. Finn was Dash. No, he was DASH. That kid was so hyped up on the con and the crowds, it was like I'd fed him M&Ms for 24 hrs. straight. He ran us ragged, Saturday. At one point, we took him out on the loading pull through at the bottom of the Marriott... he ran FIFTEEN minutes straight, doing "Dash Circles" around the people there. We've got some cute pics of that, and of him visiting with folks; will have to get Troy to download them so I can post 'em.

Sunday, Troy dressed as a captive dragonman, and I was his captor barbarian priestess. :D Chain and everything. Only problem was, the mask is latex, and he could only wear it for ten minutes at a time before he had to take it off, he was sweating so much. He had an overcoat with wings and tail poking out, and some dragonclaw gloves, too.

I pulled a dumb stunt: the upper part of my costumes was pasting the "plate mail" material onto my boobs... we didn't make it back in town in time to get to the costume shop before it closed, and no one else had any spirit gum... so I used rubber cement to stick the material on. It seems that rubber cement reacts with the kind of metal in the material. I felt a bit of burning for a while, then it quit. Only when I removed the pasties later that night did I find that wherever one of the metal diamonds had been, it had given me a chemical burn on my skin. Ouch. That's still healing. Stupid. Argh.

It seems like, over the past month or so, I've been very accident and stupid-prone. Fortunately, it looks like that's passing now; but I feel like I've caught up on my lack of accidents and injuries for the last ten years or so. Guess I'm good to go for the next 10, now. :D

Anyway, it was great to see everyone, and there were some great costumes, too. Wish we could've visited more with folks. Oh, btw, on Friday we were there briefly... and Finn took a dislike to Bert's My Pet Monster, and thus, Bert. He got over it on Saturday, and by the time we left the luncheon, Bert was his friend. :D

PS---if anyone has any more Finn pics, or pics of me and Troy from Sunday night, please post them: I want to see how we looked. Thanks!

I PS---if anyone has any more Finn pics, or pics of me and Troy from Sunday night, please post them: I want to see how we looked. Thanks!

Anything... for a lady.

Look! It's Dash Incredible!

(Funny story: When I asked Finn if I could take his picture, he said no. See, he didn't have his mask and gloves on and a good superhero never lets people take his picture without his mask on. Once he got his mask and gloves on, he was ready to go.)

I smell a 73-part crossover where they fight Darkseid, Magneto, Darth Vader, Syndrome and Pat Robertson. Order yours today!

If it's Sunday then Solaris must be half-naked. [Note: This also works on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. She takes Tuesdays off to do what little laundry she has.]

I should have all of my pictures from the convention up over the weekend.

I didn't know until I saw this thread that that was a Donna Troy costume - I thought it was just regular clothes. I'm a bad comic fan. :(

lol

I've been trying to convince Clan Solaris that they need to dress up as Birds of Prey.

All Rin needs is a laptop and a wig. Solaris probably has most of what she needs for a Black Canary costume. And Meg could go as the Huntress.

And Finn could dress as Nightwing :)

I'd say "go as Secret Six!" but everyone would want to be Deadshot.

I guess I'm weird.

I'd sooner go as Catman.

I don't have the chest to cosplay as Catman.

I could go as Judge Death though.

And I just found out that now online is a video clip of me doing a co-reading of deliberately bad Transformers porn at the Hard Rock Cafe.

I can't believe I did that while sober.

I think you looked great.

Hell, I was happy that you were standing and didn't appear to be in physical pain.

Oh, and Charles? I've been thinking of who you'd rock as....and I think you'd make an excellent Riddler.

I have never actually drunken alcohol in my life, and since that's what I do when sober this is a very good thing. I'd probably end up taken down from a distance by the SAS.
