Is House of M an alternate universe thingy?? I remember reading it and thought it was strange because of all the future stuff...so I automatically thought it was an alternate X-men thing.

Just kidding, 616 is the Marvel designation for the main Marvel universe, the one where Spidy, Xmen and the rest live and fight. As opposed to the Ultimate universe which is a modern re-interpretation of old stories and events. For example, Amazing SpiderMan in 616, Ultimate Spider-Man is ulitmate universe.

Then there other realities; like the Age of Apocalypse, Days of Future Past and so on...

Just what everyone else has said. It's 616. It's no different then when Kulan Gath transformed New York into a Hyborian Age version and woogied everyone in the city into new roles that fit the history.

I noticed he's appearing in Dynamite Comics 'Red Sonja'
I think they both co-own the character or something. After all, he did just appear in Exiles some months ago. And the TPB still is in print, so they obviously still retain rights for him.

Meh. IMO as always.Really? I actually that Coipel's art was the only good thing about the crossover. His style may be a bit cartoony and the subtle details might be hard to notice, and I personally don't like the marks he puts above people's heads to help explain their feelings (too anime-like), but otherwise I really like his art.
