how does it tie in?

So i am a bit new to the current x-men book (the stand alone title mind you not Astonishing or Uncanny or New) and would like to know how in the world it ties into the Marvel universe. Ive been reading since the Blood of Apocalypse arc.

All the X-Titles tie in together some how. But you really dont know how they do until the certain arcs are finished.

Right now the Uncanny team is in space, so they arent around so theres no problems for continuity screwups, since the uncanny characters cant cameo in this book.

Astonishing X-Men seems to take place after both Rise and Fall of the Shiar(Uncanny) and Supernovas(X-Men).

OH okay that makes sense now i can start reading Astonishing and not be all confused
