the regular X-men books to also be tied in like Cable-Deadpool, X-Factor and all the other series' or are you glad they just have the one mini?

This is excluding Astonishg BTW... just Adjectiveless and Uncanny.

Is the one mini enough for the main teams???

No, Civil War is fine this way.

Honestly, Civil War is big enough without involving all the freaking mutants.

I don't care. Civil War needs more Dazzler. The old Dazzler would be in the middle of it. Hrmph. How we forget her landmark movie. :(

I said it would depend. If they had a mini that featured my favorite characters... I'm a sucker. I'd buy it. But a mini for the sake of a mini? No. I'm on a budget, and all of these dang minis are too rich for my blood.

I say no because while I'm loving Civil War I still like reading things that aren't involved with it. If the X-books were tied in, we wouldn't have the great stuff happening in Carey's book and the Uncanny arc would be on hold. Not to mention they would possibly be caught in the delays like Spidey and F4.

i think it would depend... as of now, i'm fine with just the civil war: x-men mini and various tie-ins elsewhere. the three core titles have their own stories to tell right now. i'd rather read about that than a pointless tie-in like the one we got for uncanny during house of m (which was basically just a lead in for new excalibur and did little for the uncanny cast).

I went with "I think it would depend on certain factors (creative team etc.)". I would like to see The New X-Men kids involved for a arc or so. But then, that's becasue I'm a fan :evilsmile

There's more than enough characters left for a second mini:
- Colossus.
- Dazzler.
- Gambit.
- Rogue.
- Shadowcat.
- Storm.
- Wolverine.
That's 7 members so far, any others I should add?

Yes, I was annoyed to find out that the X-men books were practically ignored in this huge Marvel event. I guess in many ways they are away from the rest of the MU but if they were included more in this, it would have shown their connection better.

Being under lock and key should not make them exempt to the law. It would have been good if they had 1 or 2 x-men escape from the mansion to join Caps fight.

I don't know. I'm fine with them and their own books right now (the stories are mostly great all around right now) and I'd hate for all the writers to be forced to be interrupted every summer for Quesada's whole SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER FX GREATS or whatever. One of the reasons why I think the New X-Men Ombnibus is so cool: it's just Grant Morrison being freaky with our favorite mutants, and that's all.

X-Factor

I say no. They are busy right now with their own thing and that is how it should be. What I would like is the X-Men taking a stand for what is being done to them, but that is also being incorporated (albeit in many cases, not well) in the titles.

If they could somehow make the continuity work, I'd be all for it. But they wouldn't. It become as muddled, if not more so, than Bludhaven. So, I guess I should say no.

No way. Isn't Civil War over yet? It should be.

And yeah, what Ben said. ;)

That's a great point!
And CW is still touching the X-Men... just not directly.

As Emma showed in the New X-Men issue (#27 or 28) when Ms Marvel asked for help and she said no and showed her Genosha etc., and the fact that the mutants went through registration themselves... I thought those factors might have been a driving force for some of the X-Men to join Cap's side.

Actually it would be kinda cool to see the one X-book cross with Annihlation.

Maybe so, but it won't happen. I've received an answer from Andy about that particular concept.

Oh I know that, but it doesn't make it any less cool. Its just a dream/fantasy I have.

Civil War is fine the way it is. Its about time the X-Men took a back seat!

I actually agree...I think events tend to slow down storytellin for a little while...hence why it makes sense to spread em around.

Okay, this is one of the most boring comments of all time. "Let's go find the 198, shall we?" What about doing something to stop the Pro Reggers instead? :D
