I don't see any non-Warriors ever wanting to join; it'd be a PR nightmare. Guilt by association and all that.

Justice, I'd expect to keep a go at the solo thing.

Firestar I see staying in school.

Nova I see staying in space.

Speedball, well, part of me thinks he'll be in jail for awhile, but realistically I'm sure he'll get out by the end of Civil War.

Aside from Rage and Turbo (and maybe Silhouette) the rest weren't really major members to begin with IMO. Though I COULD see those three, and maybe a free-again Speedball, regrouping in order to restore the Warriors' name.

yeah, i'm definately not advocating that they use the New Warriors name. i'm just talking about forming another team.

i figure he'll stay with ULtra Girl since they had something going in the past.

Nova I see staying in space.

but space is so boring. and there are no restaraunts.

i'm predicting that he changes his name to Hardball in a few months here.

i'd rather they choose a different name, actually.

1) There are restaurants. With big weird aliens, cantinas, barfights, neon lights and such.

2) He's hooked up with Gamora. That makes it totally not boring for Nova to be in space right now. ;)

It would be pretty cool if the remaining NW members registered and created their own team without the "New Warriors" tag attatched but after seeing Rage and Justice's reaction in She-Hulk it seems unlikely that they'd want to register but then again we haven't really seen any more of them since then so I hope they pop up somewhere down the line.

I'd also like for Bandit to take the Night Thrasher mantle and lead the team.

i don't like Bandit's haircut or style of dress. anyways, i could see Justice signing up just because he's in to personal responsibility. that and he has stuff in his past to account for; like a few of the other pro-reg'ers. and i think he's charismatic enough to pull a few others along with him. we don't know how Civil War will end so it might not be necessary for them to be a completely pro-team.

hmmm... i don't know all the names you mentioned- i still wonder if Excelsior, or the Loners is ever going to be realized- i'd like Turbo and Darkhawk to come back to the team, and bring Riccochet- I'm a sucker for mythological based characters, so i'd like to see Aegis again- and I wouldn't mind seeing Silverclaw on the team either.

Firestar and Nova's identities are more or less public knowledge, aren't they? I can't see either one of them objecting to registering, ditto for Excelsior, since they're original schtick was to persudae kids to get OUT of the hero business. maybe they should have a run in with the Young Avengers..

When did Justice and Firestar break up? and why would Nova want to stay in space?

is mastermind excello the character from the new Amazing fantasy, that won the contest to get a return issue?

who wrote this character?

Justice and Firestar broke up in "I (heart) Marvel: Masked Intentions"

And a team with Justice, Firestar, Darkhawk, Nova, Speedball (or "Masked Marvel" - if the rumors are true) and Powerhouse would be incredibly strong, no matter what they called it. It would also be a great read, given the group's connections to Civil War, and their history with each other.

Haven't there been talks about an "Excelsior" ongoing (not called that, thanks to Stan Lee's trademark) with Darkhawk, Turbo, etc? The other ex-warriors could just join that team.

I don't know Powerhouse, but ohhh Yeah. I'd buy that. I also don't see them letting the name New Warriors become a tombstone of Shame over their fallen Friends. I would fully expect that group to take the name and try to remind people that the Warriors were and Are Heroes.

In the She-Hulk Civil War tie in, Firestar was "almost" outed on the website before the Warriors shut it down. She also thinks retiring will protect her from registration. That leads me to think she's still secret.

Vance however is very public. He had a very public trial for Manslaughter and served prison time in the vault.

If anyone WANTED to find out who the hot redhead in the mask that Justice was kissing is, it wouldn't be to hard to start checking out the Hot redhead Vance Astrovic is kissing ;)

i don't know why he'd want to stay in space. the other poster suggested it. maybe it has something to do with him being engaged in a long battle against the Annihilation Wave.

Yes, and it's under the (hopefully) upcoming Title.....LONERS....!!

And IF the Loners becomes an Ongoing; then maybe seeing some of the Ex-Warriors joining would be something to look forward to.......

I wonder if Marvel knows that there are a lot more Warrior fans out there than they think.

that's the problem. there aren't enough fans to support an ongoing but just enough to make them worthy of sacrifice. i'm pretty sure that's the formula they use when deciding who to kill in big events like these.

Gotta figure that's the same math that killed off Quasar.

Although, if the rumors are true, I wonder how Goliath fits into that? Does he have any fans, other than out of some irony that he used to be called Black Goliath?

well, this wouldn't be the kind of sacrifice that is made to prop other characters up. if you kill Foster, you can make a story out of Pym, Thing, and Spiderwoman's reactions. it's not so much about Bill as the characters connected to him. it would also be that necessary 'act of evil' to get Spiderman to switch sides. if i were a Bill Foster fan, i would have been very wary of his growing number of appearances. he appeared in Spiderman, the Thing, and (i think) an issue of Fantastic Four all within a 3 month period. and this is a character without a team to call his own. they are putting him in front of the target like they did Scott Lang. maybe it's a Pym family phenomena.
