OK, so I got to thinking about the first X-Men book I ever read, and can't for the life of me find it or figure out which one it was. I'm hoping you guys can help.
The things that I do remember:
-Havok, I believe, was on the cover holding his head while the characteristic concentric circles are emitted.
-The fighting takes place in/near a hospital that Havok trashes.
-Wolverine, in brown-'n-beige, makes an appearance and a reference to his healing factor; he also notes that the hospital needs to be evacuated.
-One of the bad girls had a black-and-green uniform that looked like a zebra pattern. I may be confusing her with Lorna Dane, but I can't be sure at this point.
Beyond that, I don't know much else about it other than Havok supposedly goes nuts thanks to the touch of the aforementioned bad girl. This issue could be as much as twenty years old.

I'm pretty sure you're referring to Uncanny X-Men 221. It's the issue where the X-Men face off against the Marauders in order to save the hospitalized Madelyne Pyror.
The female with the white and green hair and uniform is Vertigo, who makes her victims dizzy and nauesious. The mutant who makes Havok go nuts however, is a guy, called Scrambler. He makes mutants' powers go whack.
Hope that helps.

It sounds a bit like Uncanny X-Men #221 where Scrambler's touch makes Havok lose control of his powers and he destroys a hospital, but Scrambler is a male and doesn't wear a superhero costume. His teammate Vertigo has a green/white striped suit though.

Yeah, I always liked Vertigo. I don't know why either.
I loved her on the animated series, because she's rally the X-Men everytime and make them fall off bridges and mountains and things like that. Plus, she's a hottie.

My favorite part was when the X-Men beat the crap out of Sinister's machine and got their powers back. Vertigo tried to pull her BS and Magneto was like "SUFFOCATE ON THIS ALUMINUM HO" and she went bam lights out.

That's it! Wow, I figured that my recollections were far too vague to identify the issue in question, but y'all came through. 'preciate it!
...now to find that issue buried in a basement. If nobody hears from me in a day, send an urban search and rescue team. :D
