Attention all Canadian Viewers: Baby Teletoon is coming!

For those of you who do not remember what teletoon is, it is Canada's premiere children's cable channel. It has a penchant for airing classic shows that are neglected on the U.S.

They are going to launch a new block called Baby Teletoon, whose purpose is to provide programming for the 0 to 3 year old demographic (Kind of like nick jr.). However, there are three puzzling choices in the Fall line-up that kind of defeating the purpose of the line-up!

The line-up is as follows:
A Pup Named scooby-Doo
Baby Blues
Baby Felix
Barney & Friends
Care Bears
Duckman
The Flintstone Kids
Jungle Kids
the Muppet Babies

I have a few gripes about the line-up;

*Duckman & Baby Blues may be animated, but they are not kid shows!

* Why would Teletoon air Barney & Friends, which is not an animated show!

*You may not be familiar with some of the shows (Baby Felix & Jungle Kids are particularly obscure!)

But fans of some of these shows can be thrilled to see them again!

The line0up starts September 9, 2006!

I wouldn't call it a "children's" channel really. They have stuff that appeals to kids, but they also play stuff like Boondocks, Family Guy, and Futurama every night, and a lot of Adult Swim shows on F-Night (Friday nights).

Well, they also air shows that are considered too old for most of the u.S. outlets!
