What's a good program to get the pages on and letter dem, cos I can't do em by hand. But if it's possible by computer I can prolly do it. So whats the deal?

Adobe Illustrator is what a majority of digital letters use. Some also use other vector based programs such as Corel. Some even use Photoshop. But AI is pretty much the standard.

Brandon is right. Adobe Illstrator is the standard, there is also a program called Comic Life by plasq, which is much much cheaper than illustrator. You can't do all that you could in illustrator but its a pretty good little program.

I think Comic life might be only available for macs though.
