The Return of Superboy

Ok, friend came up with a cool idea as to the return of Conner kent. Firstly the chemical cocktail Robin used to regenerate him recently, is still in his blood. He awakes among an explosion which he lies in the middle of. His Tactile Telekanesis kicked in and blew open his grave. He's dazed and confused and so heads for Smallville. Ther he meets Ma Kent who welcomes him home and tells him alot has changed since the year he elft. He strolls upstairs into his / Clark's bedroom. There he discovers images of Superboy. Young Clark Kent. Unaware its the Clark he Knows , he heads out looking for Superboy Prime!

ORRRRRRRRRR same idea but to cover DC's ass, they can call him Valor and drop the finding Superboy to finding his place now in the new after Crisis world. I know Valor is a character from the L.O.S but he could be an inspiration to Conner as Clark to him.

I would bring back a character I like and get rid of one I don't like in one move:

Superboy-Prime, after escaping and fighting the heroes again, realizes what he's become and sacrifices himself with one final "retcon punch": replacing himself with Conner Kent.

Couldn't Connor have been replaced when he jumped to the future and spent five months with the Legion?

Brainiac 5 could have easily made a genetic duplicate and had Saturn Girl transfer the memories of the original to the duplicate. Why? History states that Superboy dies a short time after he returns from the future. Yet there he is ten years later with the future Titans wearing the Superman mantle. (In a story written by Johns that even mentions someone pounding on a reality wall) So they send the dupe back to where they got the original so he can do what history states. Then after they return to their own time at the end of the story the send the original Kon-El back in time to just over a year after the duplicate died just to make sure there is no overlap of the two.
