Superman #222 (Volume 1) an 80-page giant, pulblished int the early 70's featured a great story in which Superman is exposed to red kryptonite and loses his powers and gets amnesia.

While in this state he falls in love with the daughter of a wealthy man, and is later crippled by a rival suitor who wants her for her money.

Superman #222 only has the first half of the story and is continued in a later magazine.

Do you know what magazine the second half appears in?

Thanks

Jim

Jim, your best bet to find out when the second story took place is to go to the Superman Through The Ages message board. THOSE guys are some of the most knowledgable (sp?) Silver Age Superman fans I've EVER met.

Seriously, I bet someone over there would know.

The girl is Sally Selwyn.

(done by the Superman Through The Ages crew) gives copious details.

This particular story in #222 is a reprint of Superman #165.

Superman #223 has nothing to do with the Sally Selwyn story reprint in #222.

Superman #223 has nothing to do with the Sally Selwyn story reprint in #222.
According to that Supermanica entry, the second half of the story would be in Superman v1 #169.
