I love Roger's voice and I have all his solo stuff, even the stuff that sucks.
But I love this song!

I don't think I know any Daltrey solo songs but didn't he duet with Barbra Streisand once?

"After the Fire." The video kinda sucks, but I enjoy the song. It would make a good theme for a superhero.

After the Fire is another Townshend classic. It's great.
I even have Keith Moon's album (surprise, it sucks).

While we're at it, here's an amazing video of Pete moved to tears by Roger's version of REAL GOOD LOOKING BOY.
Guitar is a little shaky and that almost makes it better. GREAT song.

I have always liked Roger Daltry. Not just his music, but he always seemed like a cool guy.

any song that has "Dom Deluise" in it's lyrics is an instant classic.
Gail, are you a fan of the film McVicar?

Great soundtrack. Very Who-like in spots!

I didn't know Roger was a singer. I recognize the name of course as he was a reoccurring star on Highlander, but I didn't know he could sing. This completely takes me aback. Did he become a famous singer after the show went off the air, or was he famous before that which is why they cast him as Hugh Fitskaren?

Did you know that he was a singer? I pride myself knowing everthing Highlander, and to be honest my face is red as I just thought he was a funny actor.

I broke down, and googled Roger Daltrey and I found out that HE WAS IN THE FUCKING WHO. He not just some famous singer, but is apart of one of the most famous band in history. I don't have any of their albums, and even I know who The Who is as they a promient part of pop culture. I can't belive I missed this, as I have both every episode of Roger in Highlander on both DVD and VHS.

Under A Raging Moon, his tribute to Keith Moon, is probably my favorite of his solo stuff.

Yes, it was the success of Highlander that led to him working with some band whose name escapes me.

Roger also sang with Gladys Knight and Chaka Khan in "The Messiah XXI" - a concert movie mixing classical and modern music for a rendition of Haendel's Messiah.

It's not like the man buys ad time explaining who he is. How was I suppose to know that Hugh was famous beyond the show?

But CAM! What about MY WANTS? MY NEEDS?!!
See How you ARE!
Now go put on your dress! :p
Bad singing sounds like shouting and shouting on the internet is done by typing all in caps. I'm not snaky anymore, but if I were I'd say something along the lines how Night was inspired to write his song about Cam wearing a dress.

Without Your Love reminds me of my high school girlfriend :o
I love "Say It Ain't So, Joe." Great song and it really suited Daltrey's voice.
Anyone familiar with Murray Head's original version, or his album, also called "Say It Ain't So"? Outstanding record, with at least two other songs right up there with the title track in quality.
Back to Daltrey, I never listened to a lot of his solo work, although I was a huge Who fan back then; might try to track some of it down sometime. I remember liking some of the stuff from "McVicar."
