It was only a matter of time before the fun of Reality TV got sued. Chapman as The Dog hunts fugitives on TV and bails em out again. Its became A & E's most popular show attracting over 2 million viewers as well.
Chapman on the season premiere went to LA for a bond jumper. Along the way he got a lead he played for a semi-pro Football team and went onto the field to get his man. Except the guy was Simiale " Cisco " Lutu and was a dead ringer for Dog's man. Of course Chapman scared him and then after realizing he wasn't the guy , Cisco joked around on TV about it.
Everything seemed ok at that moment as Cisco seemingly was ok with it all and enjoyed the cameras. Except days later as Dog hunted Samu Savea , Lutu was accosted by police twice believing he was Savea.
For this Lutu is going to take A & E to court for showing his face and is sueing for a big figure as his lawyer claims Lutu's character was damaged. Meanwhile A & E have the proof of a joking Cisco enjoying the mistake.
" This is reality TV run amoke ! " Cisco's lawyer Jim Hammer told the press " Theres got to be a line between Television Enertainment and real police work on the other. " ( cleary Hammer doesn't understand...what Chapman does....)
Chapman however was shocked claiming Cisco called him and said thanks Dog , all the women love me now and he had no clue he was even mad about it.
