now dont think im endorsing this but is it really so far fetched?
they made a fat albert live action movie wich was completly pointless (like most remakes) so whos to say in 10-15-20 years there wont be a south park one?
and if this did happen would it be the sign of the apocalypse?

I seriously doubt Trey and Matt would let it be done - they don't want to make anymore SP movies since Paramount gave them crap about the first one. And then Team America wore them out of the movie-making process.
If this does happen, it'll be many years from now - when (or after) they just sell out completely.

Very unlikely. I'm not a fan myself, but I understand that much of what makes the show popular wouldn't really translate to live actors, esp. live kid actors. It's one thing for adults to enjoy scatalogical humor from the mouiths of cartoons. That same dirty stuff coming from the mouths of real live children would be a tougher sell.

Yeah that is true but since the South Park boys are like 8 I dont think that the kids parents or the movie producers would like an 8 year old kid cussing alot. If the show evolves the kids into teen agers then it wouldnt be a problem finding actors to play the boys.

I have very little faith in Hollywood as it is, so if I saw that this project got a green light, I'd run away and never look back.

I dont understand why Matt and Trey wouldnt want to make another South Park movie. Bigger, Longer, and Uncut got an oscar nomination for best song I think and must have made alot of money at the Box Office and on video than it cost to make. Since its South Park alot of people are going to go see it and I doubt it would cost alot of money to make, any way you really look at it another South Park movie would be nothing but profit.

And it's not likely the intended audience for the movie would be particularly comfortable listening to graphic sex jokes coming from the mouths of grade schoolers.

but the intended audience is the same as for the tv show and the language doesnt bother them.

Because the kids on the TV show are cartoons, not real live 8 year olds making filthy jokes and dropping F-bombs. There is a difference.

Apparently you're not. I said the audience would be a lot less likely to find the same material funny coming from real kids (as opposed to cartoons).
