Hey Mr. Sayger,

I just happened to be perusing the cbr forums and I saw that you had your own forum. I'm a friend of Billy who works at Jim's Sports Cards And Games and Joe. They both are big fans of your work Joe's got some original artwork. Apparently you did the artwork for the Wizard april fools gag about Three Dog Night. Shame on you. I was really looking forward to that comic. Anyway I just thought I'd say hey and let you knwo that you have people giving you good word of mouth.

Chris

.. I did produce a piece of work for the Wizard April Fools day gag... But the piece that I did was The General Mills Massacre. The fictitious story claimed that I was drawing a book that Steve Niles was writing based on the 3 monster cereals by General Mills... Frankenberry, Count Chocula, and Boo Berry. Making that piece was a blast, and I can't tell you just how many e-mails I received from fans asking when it was going to come out. The thing that really told me that it had touched a nerve was when fans started to request drawings of Frankenberry.... It's hard to think of a scenario where a fan would rather have a drawing of Boo Berry than Batman, but it happened!

Billy's been awesome to me over the last few years. He attends a lot of the comic conventions in the Midwest so I get to see a pretty good amount of him. He always seems to have a good number of his customers around him which tells me that he must take pretty good care of his regulars.... when he's not trying to find some rare piece of Hellboy merch!
