should i pick up the recent iron man trades? inevitable, or extremis? i'm more interested in extremis, but is it really worth getting? are there any good iron man trades around?

Extremis was great! Other than that. I would recommend an older book. "The Armor Wars." Tony and Steve get nice and mad at each other and it paves the way for some of their emnity in Civil War.

I just read "Extremis." It was okay, at best. It was about 3 issues of story padded out to six. The art was nice eye candy, but seemed rather static and less polished in the second half.

if you plan to get the Knauf brother curretn arc and get Iron Man #13+ then get extremis to understand his power :)

Ive noticed a lack of Iron Man trades to begin with.

But, are there any old trade's? The only one i've seen is Mask in the Iron Man, and Demon in the Bottle, besides of course Extremis and Inevitable.

Inbevitable was actually pretty good, but I didn't really like the art that much.

Yes, Marvel has not treated Iron Man well. Armor Wars has been out of print for a long while and really should get the deluxe hardcover treatment. Armor Wars II never collected, along with pretty much everything from post-armor wars through intro of war machine. Some of the classic silver armor/stark vs. stane stuff would also have been great to collect.

Compounding this problem is the fact that Iron Man's current history has been so weak, with the abortions produced by orson scott card, warren ellis, and whoever the heck is doing it now.
