As a long time fan of Nova who rarely does any postings at forums I'd like to say your artwork atom-smasher is brilliant. And since I've done my own fair share of Nova art I've uploaded a quick pencil sketch which I've coloured in Photoshop; not a completed artwork as I do intend to do a proper rendition of Nova's new costume soon.

Thanks! Just like in Starship troopers, there's a bit of lying going on in the poster. Ronan obviously doesn't like Super Skrull, but if you see a Skrull and a Kree fighting side by side, you just know its an important cause!

Incidently I didn't colour Firelord, SuperSkrull and surfer because unfortunately the downloaded image was too-lo-rez so concentrated on the larger grouping of Rich, Gamora, Drax and Ronan. If I had a better clarity image could have done better but its turned out okay and if you're happy I'm happy. And my identity is secret!!

For I forget, Inbetween all the day to day things I do I'm endevouring to do something that I'd always wanted to do and write/draw a one-off Nova strip..but its always been frustrating as to when/where set it. As I'm presently enjoying the current version of Rich Rider, I may decide to take a "sideways" trip and do a tale along the lines of a What If..wherein you take a moment in history and go off a different tangent. So here's an idea. If lets say we take Annhiliation Nova 4 which featured Quasar's death at the hands of Annihilus and where Nova himself got his facial scar, etc..what if Quasar and Nova didn't breach the ship and attack Annhilius directly (thus ignoring Drax's recomendation) and instead destroyed it using combined Quantum and Nova force blasts which disabled the wave long enough for the colonists to evacuate..of course Annhilius would still be on the scene but where would the story go next? What if Quasar, not Peter Quill was Nova's second in command. Would Nova still have Gamora as his "bit on the side"? Would there be that reckoning with Drax which never happened on the cover of Issue 2 of the Nova mini? And what of the rest of the current series. How would that occur by one slight change of event. Ideas please anyone? This could be a bit of fun in-between waiting for issues of Annhiliation proper.

It may be the basis for a comic strip I'm considering doing; a sort of alternative universe version of Annihiliation using the Ultimate version of Rich Rider in the fan fiction story "I reached for the Stars" at the Nova Prime Page..I may post a page as/when I get around to drawing one.

Thanks for the compliment Ronnie; greatly appreciated. I'm doing a mini-strip at present for my contribution to Nova's 30th anniversary. It'll be either in black/white or colour (though I may ask if anyone would like to colour it I'm open to colaboration. Its basically this: when Rich sends his warning back to Earth I figure it would also be an opportunity to send a message home to his family and friends. Its also a chance to try an imagine the last night prior to his departure. Did he tell his Parents that he was going into space again, unlike last time when he was taken by the Sphinx and had no direct choice; he went to Xandar, fought in the Skrull Wars for over a year and during that time he didn't attempt to contact them. In this instance when he was given the mass recall to Xandar, he'd probably tell them that he's make some effort to keep in touch; they also could've been anxious of his departure knowing what happened last time. Also did Robbie (Speedball) and the NW take Nova's sudden departure on friendly basis after securing Season 2. Was it amicable? If not, unware of the Stamford diaster did he leave on bad terms and since "we" know what happened, Rich at present assumes everything is okay. And have the Riders been affected by the Civil War after DestroyALLWarriors.com..Hindsight Lad released his personal identity as Nova to the general public (see She Hulk). The story starts with Rich, alone on the observation deck of the ship behind the moon; a few hours prior to when we see him in his room with Peter and Gamora, and later Ronan. He's already made, or making the decision to fight Annihilus alone after the fall of Dadelus 5 so that's where this little missive fits it. Anyone want to help, let me know as I'm happy to it to be interactive.
