While at the conventions I do a lot of sketches that don't see print anywhere! They are drawn on the spot and whisked away to a private collection. I love it that these pieces are given a loving home, but they also need to be shared and enjoyed by everyone!
THAT'S WHAT THIS POST IS ALL ABOUT!
Every two weeks I"ll update the link below to display a different convention drawing! If you have one of my convention sketches, or even a full blown commission, send me a scan and I'll be sure share!

Whew... It's hard to believe that the two biggest conventions of the year have passed! But sorting through all the scans show that I did a lot of drawing! Though I'm a bit late with this newest sketch update, I'm sure you'll forgive me when you see all the pieces I have to share!
OK, OK.. you knew that there had to be a Batman or Joker piece in here somewhere... AND HERE IT IS .. As a lot of you know I like to really REALLY go nuts with the Joker.. making him look at crazy as possible.. I went all out on this... I think that he must have new light bulbs in his eyes... What kinda meds are they handing out in Arkham...?

Wait.. make that two Jokers... ( I just can't stop! )... This is my favorite Joker that I've drawn all year! And that is saying something!

Here's a great three artist "jam" piece... Left to right is The Toad, by Chris Moreno, The Juggernaut by Andy Lee, and Magneto by your's truly... Andy was so sneaky as to hide the name of the fan who eventually got this piece on the juggernaut! Can you find "Pat"?

Just what would a convention be with out a Phoenix sketch... I agree with Jim Shooter, the then editor of X-Men, that Jean Grey must be punished for crimes committed as Phoenix... But by killing this character marvel kissed away millions of bucks... She's a convention favorite that I'm always asked to draw... ( Emma Frost ain't got nothing on this!)

WHEW... It really was a great time! And just as an interesting side note.... I recently heard that the San Diego comicon is the LARGEST attended convention/ trade show in the US..!! Can that really be..?!
Thanks for being patient gang! Thanks for all the great fans who came to see me. I hope that everyone who walked away with some of my art is as pleased to own it as I was to draw it!
See you next year... or if you can't wait, come see me at Dragoncon in Atlanta in 3 weeks!
