If not why do you think that is, maybe the folks at DC wont let the big guy in blue loose if he is dealing with another companies heroes? You know like a contractual thing or something.
What is everyones thought on this?

Thor suckerpunched him a good one in JLA/AVENGERS, and I seem to recall Galactus mind-controlling him in SUPERMAN/FANTASTIC FOUR.

As for why, it's that the companies are more interested in having both their sets of heroes look good than in providing any kind of definitive "rumble." And in the cases where fans vote, it's not as if anyone's popular enough to beat Supesy.

Spider-man saved him from Dr. Doom in their second crossover. Superman was clearly beat there. He did get Doom in the rematch though.

Well, in JLA/Avengers, after a long drawn out battle with Thor, Superman was jumped by Wonder Man, Hercules, Iron Man, She-Hulk and possibly someone else after defeating the God and was pretty badly beaten until Aquaman saved him...

...But since it was at least four on one after a long fight I'm not so sure it counts.

Wellll , Superman was getting manhandled by Venom and not doing very well. :D

When the majority of people in the world think superhero.. they think superman... I think in every Marvel/DC crossover they give supes the credit he deserves as the founder of superhero comics...

I think he can be beaten ... in a Wizard mag once Thor took on Supes and beat him but that wasn't an officially approved Marvel / DC battle.

I don't know whether it is an actual contract that is written just an extreme level of respect of the character.

What's up with that comic page? It is neither in English or has anything to do with Superman being held off by Jean.
Superman later "stopped" Jean from helping Scott simply by, how it seemed, holding her.

I was thinking of that one too. Superman's costume and skin had been saturated with kryptonite dust. He was out cold, unconscious and presumably slowly dying, until Spidey saved his bacon. I'd call that Superman getting beaten.

Nope but it was in the series itself. I like the dramatic effect of bats intruding on Dr. Strange. Jackson Guice who was the pencilier for the Dr. Strange comics in the 90s , get to draw him again one more time.

It's in Hungarian. There are several continents on this planet besides America, you know.

By point was that he posted a Hungarian comic page on a site with almost entirely (if not entirely) English text.

Could you please tell me the issue number of this?

I've been scouring comic book stores across the globe for this. (No joke, I've checked stores outside the USA)

I'm desperate!

Well, the picture doesn't really show anything you really want to know (hence my original complaint about it), but it's on the first page of this thread.

I see no link and the picture is not showing up at all. :/

Maybe this (http://nitro1.fw.hu/gallery/kepregeny/Marvel%20vs%20DC/DC-Marvel%20-%20All%20Access%203/all_access_3_13_m.jpg) will work.

THanks! That did work.

But, you were right. It was not what I wanted to see. *sigh* if only my Jean Grey/Superman panel existed somewhere....

This isn't in English, but here's a two-page shot that has Jean taking a shot at Supes:

And this one is where Superman stops her from helping Scott by holding her (whatever):
