I am curious, because I think she is a great character, and one of DC's few non-Batman-family female characters that could, imo, carry her own book.
Did she ever have villains that were al her own, or even as part of the JSA, did any villain ever hold a grudge against her in particular?
All I remember is some PeeGee-obsessed, uber-steroided, heavily-tattooed guy in prison who broke out and gave her a hard time in some JSA story not too long ago, and I also remember that Atlantean wizard that hated her because of her relationship with Arion.
Anyone else?
(Someone told me that Ultra-Humanite and Solomon Grundy used to hate her...is that true?)
Thanks!

I think the only thing Power Girl's ever really developed is back problems. Zing!

Haha! Bewbs!
No, so far as I can tell has no personal villains. Psycho Pirate only recently came close to being an intimate villain due to his full knowledge of the multiverse and her confusion about it.

She might not have had many recurring villains, but she DID have an important recurring theme: Lords of Chaos vs Lords of Order. As the heir of Lord Arion, mystic villains seemed to flock to her for battle.
People can say all they want that her origin has changed, but her history is rife with these threats. Also, since EVERYTHING happened (if I understand the nuDCU correctly), at some point she is indeed still the heir of Arion (and remembers being such) as well as the last survivor of Krypton-2. Thus mystic foes might still find her a nexus of interest.

Interesting points.
I would really be interested in a Power-Girl series or mini.
There's something very appealing about her, and in spite of all the stupid boob jokes that people might be tempted to insert here, I believe that PeeGee is much more interesting that Wonder Woman (who I love BTW) and Supergirl combined.
I think she has a nice mix of spunk, levity and self-confidence, plus she has nice connections to a large part of the DCU...
If DC struck while the iron is hot, and used the same marketing muscle that they are utilizing for that dreadful Supergirl book, I think a PG comic would be a solid hit.
(BTW...the Power-Girl/JSA Classified TPB was last month's # 1 selling trade...)

If Renato Guedes (OMAC) drew a PG book, I would buy it sight unseen.

Good question for Dan DiDio. He's on record as saying that all continuity is in effect across the DCU. And no, that doesn't make a lick of sense.

The problem with PG that I see is what someone else mentioned previously.
PG just doesn't strike me as someone who would willingly involve herself with "normal" people. As the JSA classified arc made clear, Peegee has always seen herself as PG and more importantly, she ENJOYS being PG.
I don't think she would be happy a la Clark was during 52 just being "human" (the same thing can be said for Cassie a.k.a Wondergirl who always had a problem accepting her best friend's choice to hang up the tights, namely Arrowette)
Yet for any decent series, she is going to need a supporting cast a la the Bugle or the Planet and I can't see PG happy having to make up lies just to hang around people that have no idea how fun it is just to fly around and kick bad guy ass.

An imaginative writer can find ways to give her a solid supporting cast even in spite of the problems mentioned in the last post.

There was that superstrong prisoner from JSA with a crush on her...can't remember his name. I guess he would be the first member of her rogue's gallery.

All of that stuff was RetConned into being a cover up, though, so I don't think Didio's statement applies there. Everything as is, unless otherwise specified. It's like with Wonder Woman and the Justice League. She's once again a founding member, and the Black Canary RetCon has been re-RetConned or de-RetConned--however you prefer to look at it.

Steroid Guy was "Da Bomb". Meaning, that was his name, not what i thought of him. It was actually a pretty funny issue, even if the character stunk.
On a side note, Considering Arion told Power Girl that he lied about all that and was not her G-Father, i would guess that even with the Ret Con inclusion of every thing, that part still isn't true. Unless of coarse its now so complex that it's true AND not true all at the same time. Boggles the mind doesn't it? For anyone who doesn't remember it happened during Darkness Falls when they had to go into "Gemworld" and Free arions spirit. At the time He said all that was a fib, so take that for what it's worth.

After reading the Power Girl trade, her ship's AI seems to qualify as a recurring Rogue. Possibly a variant on the Eradicator?
