i know it's just a manip but still, Tom Welling doesn't look terrible as Superman. as much as i love Routh if they ever did decide to continue with the Smallville series into a Superman movie, well, at least Welling wouldn't look bad.

Agreed...he'ld just have to work on his acting skills. I'm a huge fan of Smallville, but you have to admit he isn't the greatest actor in the world but he does look the part. The show should hire an acting coach for him and I'm sure he would greatly improve.

Interesting they went with the old Tom Cruise as Iron Man rumor since the buzz now is Tom Selleck in the suit.

Honestly, this would have been better fifteen years ago but I have no problem with a late 50s Iron Man if it's someone like Selleck, who exudes "Tony Stark" to me.

That is awesome. Welling wasn't that great of an actor back in the first 2 seasons, but now he is Clark Kent. Just needs to work on the voice if he ever becomes superman. Alot more 3dimensional than Routh. But then again Routh was playing silver age supes who is 2 dimensional. I like Welling as a fanboy. Unlike Routh, Welling has that thicker wavy hair that supes has and those big ass superman forearms. Yes pretty fanboyish.
