FRAME ONE
CAPTION: All Legends and myths have an essence of truth in them. Be it the smallest little bit truth or completely true they all follow this…
CAPTION: For instance, King Arthur was a real person. Maybe there was no wizard Merlin, there may have been no magic sword but there was a King Arthur…
It’s a rainy scene set in London. You can see Big Ben towering above one of the buildings. The main focus is on a really big, muscular man in a hoodie, jeans and boots. He’s also got a rucksack slung over his shoulder. His hood is up and he’s looking down on the floor, rain splashing against him dramatically.
FRAME TWO
CAPTION: Robin Hood is another legendary icon that people have been able to confirm the existence of. Maybe his adventures weren’t so amazing but they might have happened…
CAPTION: But let’s say everything that we’ve read is true. Let’s say that every bit of the Arthurian legend was real. That the sword, the wizard, the sorceress sister were real. What other myths are less of a myth than we think…
The man stops and goes to pull off his hood as he stands at the door of a pub. His hands hold the edge of the hood and the rain is still dropping heavily.
FRAME THREE
He pulls back the hood, his eyes looking around the near deserted street as he stands at the door. His face is stern and suspicious.
FRAME FOUR
CAPTION: Well if King Arthur is a real man that dealt with wizards. How could there not be a Heracles?
CAPTION: …It’d just be unethical.
He turns around. There’s a strong look of defeat on his face and he sighs heavily, looking at the ground once more.
HERACLES: Forsake Drink? Forsake women? Argh! This Century has been damn torturous. How can he expect me to live as a mortal as an Immortal?
PAGE TWO
FRAME ONE
CAPTION: I’m sure your all familiar with Heracles. Probably by a different name though I suspect? Yes, you can blame the Romans for that…
CAPTION: …As well as certain movies and comic books. But you didn’t hear any of that from me. *MARVEL*cough*DISNEY*cough*
Heracles walks along the sodden street kicking a drink can in front of him. He has one hand in his pocket the other holding his bag.
HERACLES: Cursed weather. By Zeus has this country not heard of sun? I thought there was a heat wave going on. It’s just one bad thing after another.
FRAME TWO
CAPTION: For those that don’t know, Heracles is the original hero. He’s the original Superman minus the red undies. Heracles is strong, Heracles is brave…
Heracles waves down a bus as he stands at the bus stop. There are a few people at the stop with him; there is a suspicious looking man in a trench coat with a hat pulled low to disguise his face. A baby is crying behind him.
HERACLES: At least the bus is on time…For once at least (And if that baby doesn’t stop crying I’m going to go berserk)
CAPTION: …Heracles is really grumpy these days.
FRAME THREE
Heracles is sitting down by the woman with the baby. He is really uncomfortable as has to give up a lot of room so the mother is comfortable.
MOTHER: I’m so sorry. Here I’ll give you some more room.
HERACLES: NO. I mean…I wouldn’t dream of it, look I’ll stand up and give you some more room.
MOTHER: Thanks. You’re so sweet.
FRAME FOUR
The man in the trench coat whips it open to reveal a bomb strapped to his chest. He is laughing crazily and looks completely insane. He’s holding the trigger button in his right hand with his thumb resting on it. The mother hugs her baby close to her and Heracles stands up.
TERRORIST: ALLAH I DO YOUR WILL…Hey?? what are you trying to do wise guy?
FRAME FIVE
There is a blur across the terrorist’s chest. He’s looking down at what’s happening at such a speed.
FRAME SIX
There is the exact same picture. Except that instead of a blur you just have the terrorist’s chest.
TERRORIST: HOW? HOW DID YOU? HOW DID YOU DO THAT?
PAGE THREE
FRAME ONE
Heracles is holding the bomb nonchalantly between his two fingers with an amused look on his face. All the other passengers are standing around him clapping.
HERACLES: It’s called talent. That, coupled with your stupidity equals me holding the bomb.
FRAME TWO
The terrorist is looking furious. He presses down on the button. Specks of spit flying out of his mouth and he yells at Heracles.
TERRORIST: THEN YOU WILL DIE HOLDING THE BOMB YOU ARROGANT PIG!
FRAME THREE
Heracles quickly tucks the bomb into his chest and attempts to smother it with his arms.
HERACLES: Oh hell no.
FRAME FOUR
The blast is being smothered by Heracles’ body with his shirt being ripped apart. Heracles is leaning over, arms across his chest. Little bits of blasts are by where his face is tucked down.
FRAME FIVE
Smoke is thinning the mother is holding her crying child close with some man comforting her. She’s straining her eyes looking through the smoke in the bus.
MOTHER: What happened to that man? He saved our lives. Somebody help him.
MAN: Somehow I don’t think he needs any help.
FRAME SIX
Heracles is standing in front of them. His top is completely destroyed and he looks dusty with his hair all messed up.
He is holding the terrorist round the scruff of the neck. The terrorist is now unconscious.
HERACLES: Somebody want to call 999 for me? He blew up my phone.
TERRORIST: urhhhh
HERACLES: Shut up.
CAPTION: Yup, Heracles is back…with a bang.
