I was just wondering about this character. She`s never brought up in the post 90s series and I don`t know much about her to begin with. Anyone can fill me in?
And is she related to Sela?
While we`re at it, who the heck is War Monarc and why is he a silver armored black man named Jim Rhodes in the DC universe?

Nubia was the pre-Crisis twin sister of Diana (as opposed to Donna, who was the post-Crisis twin sister of Diana), and Nu'Bia was the post-Crisis Amazon Champion of thousands of years ago, whereas Artemis was the pre-Crisis Amazon Champion of thousands of years ago, as opposed to Artemis, who was the post-Crisis Bad Attitude Wonder Woman, while Nubia was the pre-Crisis Bad Attitude Wonder Woman.
Got that straight?

I think I've got all that. Although I might mention that according to some research I did into the subject last year, there was another Pre-Crisis Amazon named Artemis, who made her one and only appearance in "Wonder Woman #216" in 1975 and promptly disappeared into comic book limbo, never to be heard from again.
And after NinjaJack says he's assimilated all that, we could change the subject to convoluted Supergirl continuity, and I could start to hold forth on the Pre-Crisis Kara Zor-El Supergirl, the other Pre-Crisis Kara Zor-El Supergirl (who was apparently wolf-faced), the Post-Crisis Ghost of the Pre-Crisis Kara Zor-El Supergirl, the Post-Crisis Kara Zor-El Supergirl, and the Post-Post-Crisis Kara Zor-El Supergirl! And then I might go off on a tangent and talk about the various Pre-Crisis and Post-Crisis origin stories of the Power Girl character sometimes known as Kara Zor-L :)
(I'd go easy on him, though. I wouldn't even mention all the other Pre-Crisis and Post-Crisis Supergirls who weren't named Kara Zor-El!)

I got all all of it, I think.
I`ve done personal study jobs on the history of comics, it`s just the individual stuff that seems really complicated, worst of all being the women.

If the Global Guardians and Themyscira both make a return maybe she could become Themyscira's rep. in them.
