Kamandi will need those friends considering the enemies that
he is about to encounter. Curt does an excellent job with this
series. I loved his take on the Legion (if you haven't, go
read 'Tales of the LSH' now)*, but his Kamandi series had me
grinning from start to finish (I guess I'm more a Kirby fan
than a LSH fan - but I love both ;p).

What's with the PDF link? That's something new that I'm trying
out. From now on, you'll have the choice of a web or pdf
format for your viewing pleasure. Download the pdf and read it
at your own leasure (when you're offline) or check out the web
version.

Where's JSA 5 you're asking? It's coming... very soon. I'm
doing the last little of editing on it but I didn't want to
hold up the update while I worked on my own story. It isn't
fair to Curt or to DCL. Besides, I think Curt's story is so
good - it needs to be read now.

I know it has been very quiet around here lately so I thought I better
break the silence and let people know what's in store for DCL...

I'm proud to announce that we have a new series coming to DCL and an old
series coming out of hiatus! Let's welcome Tom Deja back to the ranks of
DCL! He will be writing a new TITANS series and will be returning to
FIRESTORM as well. While this is great news for DCL, it is even greater
news for you - the reader! I've already had the preview of his TITANS
and I think everyone is in store for a treat. Welcome back, Tom. I know
I look forward to both series.

I've also been talking to our other esteemed writers and I've been
assured that there are future JSA and Mon-El stories in the works!
Nothing like putting the writers on the spot. :)

On a technical note... I've been busy upgrading my various websites to
xhtml/web standards and that will include DCL as well. There is a slight
format change in the works for DCL so don't be surprised if things start
looking a bit different around these parts. Would you believe DCL is
just over 8 years old! Wow, it blows my mind and I created the site. ;)
I've been lucky to work with some of the best writers out there and it
has been a pleasure. Thanks to everyone who has helped make DCL their
home and here's to another 8 years of DCU excitement!
