Can someone explain to me what it is because they keep on using that title in Astonishing X-men.

It's a concept introduced in Grant Morrison's run on New X-men. As far as I could tell, it was a place in a person's mind where the things that they're afraid of exist. Secrets and such. Morrison never got too specific with exactly what they were, but they were first brought up by Cassandra Nova as a means of breaking down one of the x-men, though I don't recall which one it was specifically.

On a somewhat related note, I always thought that "The White Hot Room" was a variation of the "Bug Room" but again, Morrison kept it vague.

T'was Cyclops.

I always presumed that The Black Bug Room was just Cassandra Nova messing with Scott's head.
