What is your favorite Elseworlds version of Batman? I'll say the ThrillKillers version actually I like alot Elseworld versions except the vampyre version from the Batman/Dracula trilogy.
My favorite would be the vampire version, or the Gotham by Gaslight.

I was always fond of Darkest Knight, and Speeding Bullets. Been wanting to read the vampire trilogy though.

Gotham by Gaslight/Master of the Future. First chapter was more gothic, the second one more Jules Verne.
Holy Terror(Alan Brennert/Norm Breyfogle). Batman as an anti-Papal terrorist in a world where the Catholic church is the world's most powerful and corrupt political force.
Dark Allegiences(Howard Chaykin). 1930s, in which Bruce is a self-made millionaire(as opposed to old money like he's depicted in most books), and shifts his focus from fighting crime to fighting fascism.

Wow - I didn't think anyone liked Masque.
Actually I've just read through the list here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Elseworlds_publications) and I really didn't like many of them. Elseworlds seems to be the one (and only) place where Superman gets better stories than Batman.
The best I could find there were Holy Terror and Nine Lives (with honourable mentions to Gotham by Gaslight, Master of the Future and Detective 27). Most of the rest were quite poor

It's a long time since I read it (and promptly sold it on eBay) but I didn't enjoy the story at all and thought the art was terrible. I was under the impression that it was generally considered to be the worst Elseworlds that Doug Moench didn't write

These two top my list.
Batman: Holy Terror (1991) - The first book to carry the Elseworlds logo and the second published Elseworlds book. Reverend Bruce Wayne becomes Batman to fight corruption in a theocratic world.
Batman/Dark Joker: The Wild (1993) - A fantasy tale of the wizard known as Dark Joker and his battles against the avenging Dark Knight.
The Batman in Batman Year 100. And the Batman in Batman Nine Lives
