X-Poster of the Month: July 2006 Voting!

Which X-Books Forum poster over the course of the past month has been the best? Whether a knock-out single post, a string of good posts or just for injecting a healthy dose of verve into the daily X-Books forum proceedings and strengthening its community.

One poster. One vote. You register your opinion.

Just a reminder to everyone to keep the spirit of this award in mind when voting. Nominations should be for another poster who has actively posted in the X-Books Forum over the past month and has in some way added to, strengthened, or bettered the community.

The winner will get the (not) very fabled X-Poster of the Month signature to be proudly worn during the next month.

There were a lot of great posts from everyone this month, from the usual heavy-hitters to the occasional poster. July was a really good month on the X-boards IMO.

But I'm going to vote for a total newbie poster: Preview!!! For starting a thread on my fave depowered female-mutant! That was just a great surprise the first time I saw it and it made me feel good that Preview fans exist all over the world!:D

Hi-Fi - honorable mention for being cooler than ice and also for his posts in New X-Men #31 thread. :cool:

I'm again voting for Keith Martineau. It's like the fourth time I've voted for him because a) I love that he's so reasonable and b) I love that he's stern when necessary. His opinions are always well thought out, he's willing to listen, but he's not willing to deal with stupid nerds. He's a perfect poster.

As voting draws to a close, I'd like to say the past 30 days here have been some of the best days I've seen on CBR. I've made some good friends, strenghted some old bonds, & ignited some new embers of friendship as well. Cheers to us all! :D

So with the remaining hours left, I cast my choice in the direction of a active X-books forum poster who really does add that verve, opinionated honesty, sense of humor, & spice to the boards that make conversation (inside & outside of X-Cres) all the more enjoyable. A poster who has added to & strengthened the community in more ways than one. Here's raising my glass to Mariah :)

My vote is going to Uncle Nobs. He makes well thought out, rational points in the discussions he's involved in (See the "Bone Claws" thread), and his idea for the Danger Room "Book Club" was great.
