Woww, just woww. Did anyone else pick it up? Great issue. I´m way to lazy to review the whole thing so I let that to someone else.
Solid issue. Interesting cliffhanger. Could it be possible?
I´m glad to see that at least someone remember Ted as it should be remembered.
Well, if you haven´t read it yet, what are you waiting for!??!
Go, read it!

Those who love the former Blue Beetle aka Ted Lord would like this issue due to these reviews I'm reading. :D So go out there and buy an issue. :D

The Ted Kord stuff was great. Batgirl eh? This will be interesting. I don't think it's likely that it's cassie.
What about Kathy Kane. Is it possible that she has a change of costume one year later. (If she survives).

I don't read BOP, what did they say about ted?
Anyone have a picture of this new Batgirl? are we sure it's not just Batwoman?

The costume clearly was not the new Batwoman's. It looks like Bab's old costume.
I can only hope and Prey that it's Cassandra Cain. I dropped Robin after about two issues, so I don't know if that was actually her in that One Year Later.
(Wow. I didn't mean to type that terrible pun. It just kinda popped out. Damn Freudian slip.)
Also, it's nice to see Ted Remembered.
Cool to see Black Alice back too.

oh please let it be cassandra....
Ah you poor Cassandra Cain fans! I truly despair for you. I think in all likelihood Talia Head has put out a Batgirl (I) to draw out Orarcle (Barbara Gordon).

The suggestion does seem to be that Barbara is back behind the cowl, which is why she declines participating in the Bird's mission.
Maybe Superboy-Prime retcon punched her paralysis.
First instinct is that "Batgirl" is someone sent out by Calculator to get Oracle's attention.
But why would he think Batgirl would get Oracle's attention, he doesn't... know... unless Talia knows?

I have wondered about this myself. If Ra's could figure out who Batman is, he concievably has the resources to find out who Oracle is. Its not, after all, as if there aren't links between her and Bruce Wayne.
That is one of two ways that the Society could know about her. The other is that Prometheus knows who she is, he's known since he outhacked her in JLA WWIII.
You really don't even need resources. It's just a matter of putting two and two together. Batgirl would have been someone in Batman's (Bruce Wayne) circle. Also Talia already broke into Batman's system once and got at his secrets, that alone should have told her. If this is the case, however, the only thing is why was it not used before.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!
Retcon punch = Worst. Idea. Ever.
I trust Gail is better than that. BoP is, IMO, DC's best and most underrated book (especially since JSA was shelved for a bit).
This was another great issue.

I meant finding out who Oracle was, not who Batgirl was. One doesn't follow on from the other, although if you knew Batgirl = Barbara and knew about her mental abilities you could conciveably make the Oracle = former Batgirl association. As for why it was never used before, something tells me that both Prometheus and Talia could come up with reasons to keep a piece of information like that to themselves. ;)

Definitely BatGIRL - and definitely not Cassandra Cain (villain now) or Barbara Gordon (still paralyzed). Refer to the conversation between Calculator and Talia - she asks him if he dropped "the bait." What else could it be?
A bigger question is who's running the Society nowadays, and why Black Alice is supposed to look like Wonder Woman in black on the cover?
