Has it ever been explored if Doomsday, as a product of Kryptonian science, is vulnerable to kryptonite? Could be interesting . . .

I don't think so. It was never even stated that Doomsday, himself, was kryptonian-- simply that he was the end result of expiramentation that took place on Krypton.

I believe that's right. It was a nasty, dangerous environment that seemed like a great place to use for field-testing genetic designs for something that could adapt to just about any problem or environment. But the researchers in question came from somewhere else entirely -- I'm reasonably certain they didn't use Kryptonian DNA as the building blocks of their experimental mixtures that finally resulted in the unstoppable Doomsday. (Granted, it's been a while since I reread the story that finally filled us in on Doomsday's origins.)
