Hi All,
My first time posting some artwork here. Two pieces I finished recently. I'm pretty happy w/ the way the devil girl came out, but I think I need to redraw the Storm piece. The anatomy/face feels a little wonky. Any constructive criticism on that on is appreciated. Btw, I purposely left the bg on the Storm piece very light because I was planning to paint over it in PS.
Thanks

Great stuff.
What did you use to get the special effects on Devil girl?
I also think Storms breasts are a LITTLE out of proportion...if you catch my drift.

Storm's shoulders aren't far enough around, to match the twist of her torso. I agree that the boobage is too small---not so much in size, but in breadth---even small breasts extend more over the torso, side to side, than those do. Only other thing is that her face is odd: you've got the jaw pulled to viewer's right, and left eye open wide with brow up---but the eye on the right is squinted and set lower than the left one. You might try resetting the eyes (not necessarily changing their expression) because it feels like the right eye should be higher, or the left lower.
Only thing on the devil girl is that her forward shoulder/arm looks odd---but I know that angle is very hard to draw. The foreshortening is a real pain. You might get some girl to model the pose, take a few pics of her, then study the pics to see what's not right with that arm.
That's all I can see, and overall, they're great pics! :)

Thanks. I didn't use special effects "per se" on the devil girl. I did the background and the flames that wrap around her first, so that when I colored her body, I could follow the light sources more closely.
I added white for extra hot highlights to try and give her skin a glistening effect in some places and a little airbrush white over the linework to make the scene seem like it was a little hazy from the light/heat.

Yeah, I think I kinda butchered the Storm boobs. I've been making an effort to not draw oversized beach ball boobs in general, but I think I went too far in the other direction (aside from them not sitting on the rib cage correctly).
The devil girl was drawn from photo reference, but I think the problem w/ the arm/shoulder is that I may have colored it so that it has volume, but not in the correct form. In the photo, it looked very flat, since it's so foreshortened.
Here's the sketch I did from the photo:
