Does updated Blade have the "thirst?"

I've not followed Blade religiously, but have a few of the Midnight Sons, and older Dracula stuff. I know that recently he was "updated" to match movie-Blade by having Morbius bite him - thus giving him Vampire strength and some other powers. But does he have the fangs and thirst now? Is there a serum or any of that other stuff?

The Morbius thing brought him pretty much fully in line with the movie version. Thirst and all.

Or, at the very least, that's what Marvel (http://www.marvel.com/universe/Blade_%28Eric_Brooks%29) says.
