I DIDN'T GET ANY GAIL TIME!!!
One of my biggest complaints/regrets is that I didn't get any Gail time.
Gail was in demand - huge! I did get to catch up with her husband S.
I also didn't like that everyone was 'on.'
"Hello to you. Hi to you. I'm on a panel. My editor is here. I have this pitch."
Outside of the YABS breakfast - (that I didn't make in time) I had no way to connect with anyone either.
I spent most of my time in awe of the event. One of the coolest moments was catching Robert Kirkman in a down time before a panel. He's soooo nice.

What did you think of the S-Man? He is so awesome in my book.

I'm starting to think the S-Man is Oracle.
BTW, Saw the Cape 2 shirt sighting in the video!

Wait, who was 'on?' Did I do that?
I barely knew what day it was. :)

Wait, who was 'on?' Did I do that?
No - not you. There were so many people coming at you and the other guests every moment that there wasn't any personal time.
You were very sincere.
The S-Man as he shall now be called tried an intro to Dan Didio, but Dan was already rushing to a panel. I was shaking his hand while three people behind me were making introductions.
Everyone was busy, but not as a fault - no divas.
I got lots of time with my non-industry friends - but my industry friends were constantly going.
I got to catch up with Robert Kirkman because I ran into him at a bar when he didn't have 5 people coming at him. We talked for quite a while.
I love my store because of the interaction. There is nothing I hate more than being so busy I can't bs with my customers/friends.
I wish I had gone to the YABS breakfast.
