Or Lieberman. These fake democrats ought to be tarred and feathered. No matter where their loyalties are, they're two-faced attention whores blatantly pandering to the gullible.
Well... More so than any politician is, I should say.

Fake Democrats? Sounds very much like the typical tax & spend Dems to me. The social engineering types who want to regulate things that they don't like.

By the 08 election, I will be able to vote....
But, although I'm a Democrat, I will never vote for Clinton. I'm a gamer first, comic book fan second, programmer-in-trainning third, basketball/soccer/golf play fourth, a twin fifth, and a Democrat sixth.
And, being a Nigerian is somewhere in there (between first and second).

I still dont see how anyone can say they are democrat or republican. Im neither and I never will be. Somethings Im liberall on and other things I am conservative. It doesnt make sense to throw in with just one party. I also realize those are the only choices though really, third parties never make it to primaries. Wish people would think further than what others want them to though.
At any rate back to the subject. If they want fed taxes on games shouldnt they have them on music, books, comics, movies, magazines, dvds and basically everyother form of entertainment? Even if its about violent content and such there is none of the other things I mentioned that dont have violent content in it also.
Either its all ok or none of its ok.

I'm a Centrist, so I have the luxury for voting for whoever the damn hell I want, without the pressure of party loyalties.
I would never vote for Clinton. Right now there isn't worse choice for someone in the White House.

Fake because they're shamelessly trying to make themselves look appealing to conservative voters by sponsoring moral watchdog bills.

By the same token, "true conservatives" (They do exist. I am one. They are as real as true Democrats) would never endorse such a stealth tax aimed at gamers.
Practically all of the anti-video game propoganda comes from the uber-liberal nanny-state social engineers (like the Clintons) who want everybody to live in their shiny, happy gun & game free utopia.
At least the current administration -despite it's obvious faults- has never made attempts to attack the gaming industry.

I agree with you there. IIRC, Jack Thompson once went on a huge rant when Bush sensibliy said that it's the parents' responsibility to keep violent content out of their kids' hands. Apparently parents can't be trusted with raising their own children in these matters...
