...and I think I had a life changing moment. Why didn't you guys tell me this was such a good movie? It's been a while since I had that much fun at a movie. Man. Now I've got to go rent the first one. Hmmmm. Maybe these pirate guys aren't so bad after all.

See, I told you Pirates have more fun.

The first Pirates of the Caribbean is even better than Dead Man's Chest.

Both movies are pretty decent, Kojack.

Went to the midnight showing of it the first night it came out; saw it again a week later with more friends. Good times though I thought the first was better. :) Definitely worth seeing in the theatres!

Pirates really do have 100% of the fun. Proof? Watch this, ignoring the first thirty seconds or so, left on the video for no apparent reason:

They sure aren't. I loved the second movie two. And the first.

I'm clearly in the minority here. I *loved* the first one, but thought the second one was pretty mediocre. All shtick, poor plotting, and an excess of characters that didn't necessarily contribute... :(

I think that they will in the third movie( some of the excess characters contribute, I mean).

Tink!

I'm afraid I'm in that minority too. Even though I didn't really expect the second movie to be as good as the first, it was still a big disappointment.

I'd have to agree with you on that one. It wasn't too bad, but the overdoing of special effects bothered me.

It wasn't bad, but it would never be considered a life changing film by me.

Like that was the movies doing. Let's be honest you are ready to kill someone on any day of the week that ends in a y.

I admit I am on a hair-trigger, thought that does not mean I cannot control it.

The two swords, three pirates scene killed me. That was awesome.

I hope there's a scene in the third movie where ninjas get their arses kicked all over the place.

Ninjas never get dizzy.

Plus: Two comic releaf idiots with swords < Unarmed ninja

This is all I have to say.

Why ruin a perfectly good pirate movie with ninjas?

But they'd be dead and beat up ninjas.

That's a good thing.

I don't think the public's suspension of disbleaf will stretch that far.

Jack Sparrow charged into freakin' Cthulu's mouth! Ninjas pee their baby-pants and suck their thumbs just reading a Lovecraft story.

Last Samurai has taught us that ninjas all die to samurai anyway. Pansy little ninjas.

Samurai are land based pirates, anyway.

Kinda like the SAS are land based navy SEALS.

Considering the Samurai are beholden to a lord I'd say they're more land based Privateers or the crew of a Man O' War. Land based pirates would be Ronin.

What about pirates in hang gliders ?
