this is from Friendly N. Spidey 10. Hobgoblin 2211 tells Spidey he has 6 major junction points in his life that significantly define the course of his life

Uncle Ben's death is the first, and Gwen's death is the second, according to the story

which ones do you reckon are the rest? conisdering we have seen all 6 so far.

I'd put the unmasking at number 6, which leaves 3 more

I'd say:
Clone Saga
Harry's Death
Venom Saga

I would say letting MJ know his identity, Marrying MJ, and letting Aunt May know his identity the other three.

This is hard to know but I'd say the ones we know for sure are:
1. Uncle Ben's death
2. Gwen's death
3. Getting Married
The next three I think are debatable:
The Venom/Black Costume Saga - Could be considered, however I don't know how much it has truely been a turning point so to speak.
The Clone Saga - The Clone Saga was such a long and ongoing event in Spider-man histroy, it's hard not to think of it as almost an area of it's own, I would consider it one, but I think Marvel is trying to forget it ever happened.
The Other - While I don't care for it, you could say this was a turning point for Spider-Man. I kinda see this as Spider-Man becoming JMS' verison of him, so you could consider it to be.
The Unmasking - I think this should be a major turning point if it last. I can't think of how it wouldn't be considered life changing.
The Death of Aunt May or Mary Jane - I think at some point it will happen, maybe even in Civil War. I think the death of one of them would change Peters outlook on Life(although Aunt May has died a few times already).
Having a daugther/son - Spidey having a child would probably slow down his super-heroing a bit, and make him rethink his priorities. But it seem doubtful Marvel would ever want to go down this road at this point.

What if some of them haven't happened yet? Come to think of it, Hobby just changed the timeline so some of them may never happen

1. The Death of Uncle Ben
2. The Death of Gwen Stacy
3. Getting married
4. Unmasking

I'm betting the next two haven't happened yet.

You don't think getting bitten by the spider was a major junction point?

I think that four of the point have happen and the other two are still out there.
1. Death of Uncle Ben
2. Death of Gwen Stacy
3. His wedding day
4. His death (The Other)

That is a possibility.

1. Death of Uncle Ben
2. Death of Gwen Stacy
3. His wedding day
4. His death (The Other)

I didn't think of his death/ rebirth. It makes sense given that "The Other" was less than six months ago, and there are still loose ends from that storyline.

My guesses (although I would think that being bitten by the radioactive spider would qualify) would involve not only major turning points in which Spider-Man's life would have been remarkably different, but also coorespond to a particular decade plus a "future" event:

1. The Death of Uncle Ben (1962)
2. The Death of Gwen Stacy (1971)
3. His marriage to Mary Jane (1987)
4. The miscarriage of his daughter (1996)--after all, Spider-Girl could've been Peter's reality had Mayday lived.
5. His publicly revealing his identity to the world (2006)--which happens AFTER FNSM #8-10 and would be a major turning point.
6. His death as depicted in Amazing Spider-Man #500 (possible future event)--which JMS still has yet to address as to how this could possibly take place, and which I believe PAD may have hinted at in FNSM #5.

Also, here's a thought: the mini-series written by JMS and penciled by Joe Q that they said is coming out next year and which is supposed to "fix" Spider-Man--what if this mini-series deals with these six junction points, with each point equaling one issue?

That's a clever idea, it would actually make me look forward to the book(which im currently not). Infact, that idea makes so much sense, that I'm sure it will be nothing like what they actually do. It's a shame though, I'd love to see how the junction points fit into Spider-man's history.

Especially since you have such a concept dangling out there. I just figure that if you have one question of "What are six major junction points in Spider-Man's history," "Will Spider-Man ever regain his secret identity?" and "How did that possible future in ASM #500 come to pass?" why not tie together all those questions and address them all at once?

I'm sorry, can someone give me a link to an interview or something that tells about that mini-series. And when is it supposed to come out?

Probably because JMS would rather write about crazy mystic Spider Gods that are taking over Spider-Mans body, and Spider-Man eating people,..because he eats people now...

This is from an interview from Newsarama:
: Over the last few weeks we've got you to confirm you and JMS are doing a Spider-Man limited series some months down the road. With the creative team one can imagine this will be a very high profile series, and it seems logical to conclude this project will be either greatly affected by this development, or be a direct outgrowth of it. What details can you share about this upcoming project?

Joe Q:It’s four issues, it’s an amazing story, the artist is a hack, I hope the fans enjoy it. I said in the past that after Daredevil: Father I was going to work on some of Marvel’s big icons as I haven’t had the opportunity to in the past, so here’s one of those projects.

I have to tell you, it’s such a joy working on something where I’m only a small part of the creative team. While Father was very important to me and I’m very proud of it, it was a very emotional and painful experience at times. I know this is going to sound stupid, but my daughter posed with me for the last page of the book (when you see it, you’ll know what I mean). When I finished the last page, I felt like the whole thing came around full circle and I just kind of broke down.

Newsarama:We'll close the circle on Father sometime in the near future. As to your's and JMS' Spider-Man limited series, you called it an "amazing" story. Since we're talking all about the reveal, can you assume it's directly related to and follows up on these events? Will this be where this development really comes to a head?

Joe Q: Let me just say that it’ll hopefully be a story that the fans will want to read but like so many things we talk about in these Joe Fridays, not all is at it may seem or as it is said [laughs]…

Newsarama:That’s New Joe Fridays Joe ...Anything else you can say about the story?

Joe Q:The series features the whole cast and issue #1 has one heck of an Iron Man appearance.

Newsarama:And just pure accounting, does it have a title and a debut month yet?

Joe Q:Yes and yes, but you won’t see this series until next year and that’s all I’m going to say about it.

There might be more information, but that's all I've seen at this point.

Thanks Micro. I'm a little skeptical of a JMS/Quesada team up. I don't want to say that I doubt, well, yeah, i kind of doubt them.
