*raises hand* Though I just started reading, mind you. I've only read the first couple of digests and...uh...the last three issues *shame* I think the first issue of 'Amazing' comes out in October.

Technically since this is a Spidey title it may belong in the Spidey section.

Yeah, I have the entire run. It's a great series, perhaps the most constant quality book on the market.

Amazing Spider-Girl #0 and #1 come out in October

To be precise; Amazing Spider-Girl #0 comes out 4th October and #1 comes out 18th October.

It's the consistantly best Spider-book by far.

It's also the only book that still feels like a Spidey book (what with Jenkins gone and Unlimited cancelled).

I was a latecomer to the series with issue #60, but I'm a die hard now. It's just a great series.

Spider-girl is a cool book and all but I'm a sucker for the originals so Spider-man is still my favorite book; then its X-men;then its Spider-girl:D

so does anyone think my girlfriend, being a girl lol would enjoy these, she read Mary Jane, she liked those, shes working on Runaways and so far so good, but spidergirl almost seems too superhero... she's not much of a sci-fi, fantasy, comic, etc kind of person, is it girlie enough to attract her interests?

I don't really think so. I am not a girl though so i am not an official voice of a women. Sometimes I wish I was though.

Alright so is the new Amazing Spider-girl going to be solely reprinted stories? I dont understand exactly what it is. I had almost the entire run of Spider-girl, but for some reason i lost interest. If a new diffrent book was starting i would probably give it a chance again.

It's not cool. It's fun. That's more important than cool anyday of the week.

I always liked Spider-Girl. It was fun from the very first issue I read up until the last...not many books can say that.

I like it, and I'm a girl so....then again, I LIKE my superhero comics and Spider-Girl DOES reference Spider-Man continuity quite a bit so it's not nearly as accessible as Mary Jane, which is an AU or Runaways (which really started from scratch). If you really want her to read it you may have to wean her onto it slowly.

I hate Spider-Girl. I just never really thought it was cool. That's okay. You can hang out in the tree house with your friends and vote on your favorite Araņa issue. Should be easy... not much to choose from, and two votes is a majority!

And May's too much of a lady to say what she thinks of you... ;)

Seriously, Spider-Girl is a great book. I like that it's in its 'own little universe', and it's creative team has been quite consistent for some time now. And while I personally don't think the 'renumbering' is necessary, if it brings in more readers (so we don't have to fear the repeated 'cancellation' threats)... hey, the more the merrier! I'm especially looking forward to more Goblin Queen wickedness should it come May's way!

I'll just buy her volume 1 and see what happens, thanks for the input. (sonicjuce)
