So how do you:
1)Play the rest of the Hades Paradox cup battles? I made it thru the one with Crebus, but I can't take part in the rest of them.
2)Take part in the Struggle battles? That stupid lard ass promoter keeps saying I don't have enough experience(hello, i am on level 99!!) and will only let me play Hayner.
3)did yall see the bonus clip at the end of the game? Is Kingdom Hearts III gonna be on the next gen systems?

1) Go to Gamefaqs.com and go to the Codes and Secrets section of Kingdom Hearts II to get the specific details. You have to have fought the first battle with Xemnas, and have all Drives and all Summons at Max Levels. As you approach that status more Paradox Cups will open.
2) You have to accumulate 10 victories (IIRC) against Hayner, then 10 against the second guy. Then you can fight the Third.
3) If you beat the game on Proud Mode, or if you beat the game on normal with 100% journal, an additional video will play at the end as a teaser for what Kingdom Hearts III might be about. Most likely it will be on Playstation 3 given that the KH creators are likely taking a break right now and the new generation race is already on. RE: dammit..those summons suck ass!
They're not that bad, but not that great either. Best way to level them up is to use the Drive Gauge glitch and just keep fighting enemies using the summons, and making sure to use up every gauge except the last one before pulling out of the stage.
Besides, even if you've beaten Sephiroth, you can't claim to be a Kingdom Hearts II badass until you've beaten Hades Paradox Cup battle 49: Sora alone, no drives or summons, vs. Leon, Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie all at once. Get that Trinity Limit ready.

Best one i feel is the Peter pan summon as it heals while you fight. Good to use when you have a lot of enemies on screen and you don't want to waste time healing any damage.

I see the 3rd installment being another part to the story.
If you look at the secret video it shows two guys and a chick walk up and grab the three key blades. In the normal end video it says a new journey is about to begin plus Rikku is going on about becoming the darkness... I honestly see something changing the three over to the darkness or possibly body copys or something ya know... but who knows, thats a good thing abut kingdom hearts, they dont reveal the next story.

Maybe...but that Ansem report which flashes by during the cinema makes me believe that we'll finally get to meet the Keyblade wielder who used the Keyblade to destroy his world instead of help it. Either that, or the story will have something to do with that person's legacy.

I was really into Kingdom Hearts II when it first came out but I got stuck at the first fight in the castle about 26 hours into the game. The guy that shoots magic bullets or something. He was hard as hell but once I start playing again I hope to kick his ass.

Huh ? First fight in the castle ? Magic bullets ? Doesn't ring a bell with me , KH II was actually much easier than KH I with everything being simplified.

If you're not enjoying it by the time you get to Wonderland, you won't be enjoying the rest of it.

No offense, but as long as you have a good length of HP and MP, that four-on-one fight was nothing, especially not in comparison to Sephiroth. I beat them by gliding around and doing thunder on Leon and Tifa, healing whenever I had to, until they died, and then taking out Cloud and Yuffie individually. About a week later, I was talking to my seven-year-old nephew, who told me he beat them on his first try by doing the trinity, glide around far away from them while the trinity recharges, do the trinity again, ad nauseum, until they all die. Sephiroth's the real challenge... no matter how many times you've beaten him, you still have to be incredibly careful the next time.

I beat the Four-on-one in much the same way, abuse of the Trinity while gliding away during Mana Regen.
However, my precise execution and timing had to be much better than the fight against Sephiroth. Sephiroth is tough, but, let's face it, he's what I call a 'high-level' boss. In terms of combat, dodging/blocking his attacks, and whupping him around, I had the advantage over him back when I was around level 70; it was merely a matter of advancing enough levels to the point where my health and Defense stat were enough to allow me to afford mistakes. For instance, one of Sephiroth's most dangerous things is his aerial combo, but as long as you are a high enough level to survive 2-3 hits from the attack, you can easily and constantly block his subsequent teleportation strike and then beat the crap out of him, then heal while he teleports away if necessary.
Furthermore, his death spell was ridiculously easy compared to Sephiroth in the first Kingdom Hearts game. Aerial Dodge just made it that much easier to close in on the bastard and interrupt the Sin Heartless Angel.
I beat the four on one on my second try (could have done it on my first try, but made a really costly mistake and got pwned because of it), so in that sense yes it was easier than Sephiroth, but I was also level 97 when I beat the four of them as opposed to level 80 when I beat Sephiroth.
Really the battles are quite alike; you have to have enough levels to handle the punishment, and you have to have careful execution (After all, the Trinity Abuse works wonders on kicking Sephiroth's ass as well). The only thing though, is that I can block Sephiroth's attacks, including his teleportation maneuvers, and then immediately have a go at striking him, whereas I had to be more careful in the 4 on one because even if I blocked one attack and went in for the kill I had 3 more people ready to stab me in the back.

Looks like we have different methods of fighting Sephiroth. i actually think the KH1 battle was easier -especially in terms of Sin Harvest - just because of the strike raid ability. And I actually wait for Sephiroth to throw me into the air a lot of the time, that's when I really get a bunch of attacks on him. I only hit the trinity when he does that thing where he makes a bunch of rocks manifest, for invulnerability, and at the end, 'cause, you know, I may as well. Other than that, I usually fight him one on one, just for the sheer coolness of it.

Sadly never did beat Sephiroth in KH 1 , kicked my ass too many times that i just give up on him. What's the point ?
At least in KH II , i have beaten him so yes , the KH II fight with Sephiroth is much easier for me than KH I.

I didn't personally use the Trinity attack on Sephiroth, and I too used the 'counter his air strike then attack him' strategy. I've simply seen the Trinity Attack used to defeat him in a record time on Youtube.com.
The overall sephiroth battle is probably a bit more difficult in KH2, but the thing about KH1 Sephy is that the whole battle was really about surviving the part where he's using Sin Harvest. If you survive that, the rest of the battle, even when he's bombarding the arena with meteors and dark spheres, is fairily simple. KH2 Sephiroth could have been *so* much harder if his Sin Heartless Angel was more difficult to counter, but no matter how far he teleports, one double-jump and an air dodge will take you there.

Except the difference with me is I actually had a slightly harder time jumping to him when he Sin Harvests (the hard thing about Sephiroth for me in the second game was the rocks - not the meteors, the other rocks), rather than in KH1 when I pretty much unequipped any attack abilities and would just ready strike raid.

Hey all, I couldn't find an officla KH2 thread but this'll do.
As someone who has recently completed this awesomeness of a game.
What is easier, completeing the game journal 100% on standard or completing just the worlds on Porud.
You know because of the... you know?]
EDIT: Thinking this over it's a stupid question. I'll just have to spend time leveling up. :)

Really?...how much is there really to do to get the complete Journal? I know there is a lot in Hercules world. But time wise maybe?
I'm at level 67 at the moment after a bit of leveling up, I have all treasure and completed everything except Hercules world (the tournements are hard), the 'missions' in Twilight town, and Sephiroth as well as a few bit in The last world.
Basically what will take longer?

It just gets tedious with all the tournaments, fighting Sephiroth, doing all the things in Twilight Town... I mean, standard mode is easy enough anyway. Proud mode is the same difficulty as standard is for most games. It's not reallyhard, I don't think.

In retrospect, had I known what I would have had to do to finish Jiminy's Journal, I wouldn't have chosen Standard mode. There's A LOT of stuff you have to do to complete it. It's pretty rediculous.
But after I had finally finished all the tasks, I had a pretty good sense of accomplishment that I wouldn't have had otherwise.
Still though, the secret ending is on Youtube anyhow so completeing the journal isn't necessary anyway.:p

Thanks for the feedback. So Proud might be easier and quicker, then leveling up to beat all the tournements and Sephiroth...right?
But then my first play through took me 30 hours, I'm guessing now I know what to do and i won't mess about collecting the treasures it'll be quicker in Proud but looking again i have done everything but the few tournments left in Colloseum, 2 treasures in the last worl, Sephiroth and the 30 Poster thing adn 15 seconds for the Crago Climb (seriously, wtf??? 18 seconds isn't good enough?) , online guides for those me thinks.
Bloody love this game. :D

For cargo climb, unequip all your abilities, and make sure to hit that damn thing every time it's in the air.

Already worked that out, 18 is the best I've got.
I think the key is to make sure it does it's little jump thing while it's still on the slope but right near the top, to when you hit it while it is in the air it goes into the garage....
..hmm...Cheers anyway.

Do you have Glide equipped? It makes it *so* much easier to tag him before he readies a Sin Heartless Angel.

Once maxed out, that double jump can cover anything.

They can't be taking a break considering they're working on entirely revamping CoM for PS2 and KH2: Final Mix+ simultaneously. I don't care so much about Final Mix+(though the solo battle against Roxas *does* intrigue me, but not nearly as much as fight Zexion), but I want to see what they do with CoM. I've heard that the Reaction Command is going to be part of the overall gameplay (though, it's still going to have the card system).

Well, i did it, the key to doing it, was removing all the abilities like you said but as well, Jumping and hitting it, which is alot quicker then ground attacks.
But I have just realised. Synphesis. The guild to it is bloody huge.
Me thinks I'll be doing it on Proud to see the ending. (and yes I know it's on youtube but I want to achieve seeing it myself and I want to see it in it's full glory, not pixelise internet crap).
At least I started Proud already and am Sora again.
