Does anyone knows where Jocasta or Jocosta, whatever her name is is?

Not sure, the last time we saw her in her physical robotic body was in Disassembled. Before that she was Tony Stark's AI in his system both in the Iron Man armor and in his home database.

When was the last time Jocasta played an important or significant role in a story?
Hell, when was she introduced? I never read that issue and I'm now curious just who she is/was/was supposed to be....

Jocasta originally showed up in the 70's. She was created by Ultron to be his bride, and he used the Wasp's brain patterns to create her personality (much like he used Wonder Man's brain patterns for Vision). She rebelled, and spent some time with the Avengers, before leaving around #200. She then spent some time hanging around with Machine Man in his title.

Wasn't it the Avengers who used Simon's brain for the Vision instead of Ultron?

Nope Ultron stole the engrams chip to make up Visions mind. After all, Ultron was based on Hank Pym's patterns.
Well, nice to know that if Wasp ever geting into the atrificial person thang she can go for her engram construct's lover, Machine Man.
He's got a magnum in that finger baby!!

Just to flesh out Babylon's info, Jocasta was introduced in Avengers #162, drawn by George Perez. She hung around until the Moondragon-controlled membership drive in #211. Not knowing that she was going to be offered some sort of secondary status, she left quietly after not being given a spot on the team. Shortly after that, she was destroyed in Marvel Two-In-One #93 in battle with Ultron, but she's appeared sporadically since then.

I found Jocasta's scenes in Avengers #211 really moving as a child. I'd always been curious about the character and would love to see her return to an Avengers book.

Sh was in the destiny war-giving birth if that's an important role.

Me too! I remember thinking the Avengers were all pricks after I read that issue. Poor neglected Jocasta - she was like the Jan Brady of the Avengers!

Lucky for you, you were spared the U.S. pop culture juggernaut known as "The Brady Bunch"

No. no similarity at all.... but it does give one pause to think.....
"Now, greg, leave your step mother alone..."
PS: How could Jocasta be involved in a birth in the Destiny War??

Spread the love brothers!!! I love Jocasta and Avengers 211 made a big impression on me too. 200 & 201 where she ponders to Vision about human life's cycle while looking at Ms. Marvel's baby (Marcus Immortus) and the scene were she handles a basket with food for Jan & Hank's Quinjet trip were some of the strong Jocasta moments that I remember.
