You live in California where it's always nice. That's why I'll be going to law school down there in December when I finally, being the prodigy that I am, will get my bachelor degree at the age of 28. You wouldn't last time minutes in a real Chicago winter, which admittedly we haven't had on for quite a number of years.

You can count on it.
From the 8-Ball owner: Did you have fun while playing? If so, you still won. Being a winner is more than just getting a prize.

Programmers beta test their hardware at an early stage of development. The downside is that they have a lot of memory and really fast load times.

Hee! Yeah, we had a great time. And the prize sucked anyway. It was just corporate logo swag. We came in second place, but we can in 1st place for team name (Prank Monkeys). We had tshirts and everything. Good times.

If it had told you ahead of time that you'd lose, you may not have played at all. No fun would have been had.

TomStillwell
07-21-2006, 11:42 AM
The Magic 8-Ball is compassionate as well as wise.
You are forgiven. Go and live life as if you were dying.
But not, like, reallying painful dying. More like..."Do de do...strolling along, feeling fine...CRAP! I'm dead."
The good kind of death.
Bah, what do I know? That's a line from some stupid country western song I heard at the ballpark. I had three beers in me too. I may have even heard the words wrong. If I recall it was something like "Chicken chocolate donkies and electric druid postcards...live life like yer dyin'..." or whatever.

Yes, the Magic 8 Ball is indeed compassionate as well as wise. All hail the Magic 8 Ball.
"Chicken chocolate donkies and electric druid postcards...live life like yer dyin'..."
And I think I prefer this song. If country western music had more songs with lyrics like that, then I think I'd be a bigger fan.
TomStillwell
07-21-2006, 01:06 PM
You could probably plug those lyrics into any current country western song and have it work.
