Yesterday, I went and took my Virginia Health Insurance Exam and passed.

Um, congrats?

What kind of insurance? I did insurance sales for about a month, but then I realized how shady my particular branch of the company was, so I left to deliver pizzas in an attempt to save my soul.

I failed, but I got a discount on pizza for the time I worked there, so it wasn't without some benefit.

Well, add another state that I'll never bother looking at. As if I focus on Virginia anyway.

Slimey doesn't begin to describe the feeling of being sent to sell long-term care insurance and medicare suppliments to an old woman suffering from Alzheimers, and being scolded for not closing the deal.

Not that all companies are like that, mind you. So, again, congrats--you get to keep your soul.

Easy, tiger. We're not exactly rolling out the red carpet for your arrival here anyway. And considering you're in Indianapolis, I'd be careful about shitting on other parts of the country.

Anywho, congrats Phrozen. I'm up in Northern Virginia, which I don't know if it falls into your territory or not, but maybe I can throw some business your way, particularly if it's car or home owners' insurance.

I should know this, but what's circumstantial indemnity? Knocking someone over at the grocery store with your cart?;)

No, I can't do Property and Liability. Not liscensed for it and N. Va is not in my territory anyway. I am around Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg area.

Circumstantial Indemnity is basically if the circumstance happens that is specificed in the policy, the company starts paying. Like hospital visits, check-ups, getting cancer, etc. It is a form of health insurance.

Gotcha. Well, you're far from evil in that case. More of a life-saver. Best of luck and personal success.

Why the dearth of doctors on CBR?

Congrats on the new license, Phrozen.

Why the dearth of doctors on CBR?

Too busy saving lives and tending to the sick, I guess. I know of at least two--Polite Scott (who does the Polite Dissent blog) posts on Gail's forum, and Sabrinaset's a surgeon now.

You have a ways to go, Young Skywalker, before you know the power of the Dark Side.

Besides, insurance agents are the Diet Coke of Evil. Insurance companies, on the other hand...

And I work for a Health Insurance company in VA. Plus, beat up drunks and throw them out of bars as my second job. So, I must be more evil.
