Rumors of Brandon Rauth and Playgirl

Rumor has it that Playgirl has offered the star of "Superman Returns" 500K to appear in the mag, AND that he's considering the offer. Speculation of finding out exactly what was under the "bulge that got photoshopped" has local female radio hosts buzzing.

Me too. I'd love to see him in the mag. :D

If anyone hears he's gonna be in it, let me know which month, and when it releases, okay? :D

Original promotion pics were criticized, because "Superman had too noticible a bulge, and that's a little too racy for family entertainment," so they photoshopped the pic and reduced the size of his bulge. I kid you not.

Now... I seriously DOUBT that PLAYGIRL is gonna do that... so if the do pics showing him in his "all," it'll be the real deal. ;)

I'll admit---he's a good-lookin' guy... but I'm just damned *curious*, now, after all the freu-fraw over the promotion pics. Heh.

As much as I'd enjoy seeing Brandon Routh naked, I'm wary of that rumor. From what I've seen, the more high-profile celebs who appearin PLAYGIRL usually don't bare all. Think about it: the guy just starred in a Superman relaunch. The Powers That Be want high-profile sequels that draw in families, not controversy that chases them away. We'd probably just get an interview and teaser shots.

In the first... well, he has a low hairline, and he looks so much better with bangs.

*chuckles* Yeah, we still haven't seen the movie yet... and in that shot he *almost* looks naked.

My husband has a long back like that. He's not so deep through the chest, front to back, and his arms aren't quite as long nor his shoulders as developed. His shoulders *are* that broad, tho'---and his legs are better than Routh's. :D So in that shot, when I look at it, I think "put better legs in there, and it looks like Troy, pumped up!" :D

I doubt that he will do it. It'll hurt his career. I can see him doing an interview and posing (maybe) shirtless. But a full photo shoot, even with his 'bits' covered won't be happening. Playgirl is the kind of magazine were unknown men who want to get into modeling start out.

We finally got to see the movie today. Aside from the fact that I loved it (except I wasn't very impressed with the actor playing Jimmy Olsen), I can now officially add Routh to my "hot men" list. Wow.

Even better... I loved how his Clark Kent was so close to Christopher Reeves's.

You bet, if he *does* do Playgirl... I'm buying a copy. :D
