Somebody suggested I should post this here.

There was the time a fifth grader thought it would be funny to punch the blind kid and run. So he snuck up on Ben Underwood and hit him in the face. That's when Ben started his clicking thing. "I chased him, clicking until I got to him, then I socked him a good one," says Ben, a skinny 14-year-old. "He didn't reckon on me going after him. But I can hear walls, parked cars, you name it. I'm a master at this game."

"You're name is Benjamin Underwood and you can do anything."

The reason why he's a Matt Murdock is because his mom is a battling Jack.

I love it.

Is it sad that I want to learn how to navigate by echolocation now?

At least you haven't tried to.

Not that that implies that I did, of course.

You don't need echolocation in traffic. Cars are noisy enough as it is.

It's those damn bikers with their sleath mode, you have to watch out for. Or listen for as the case may be.

Now when he grows up he'll move to Hell's Kitchen & be a blind lawyer by day and a leather costumed vigilante who beats up criminals by night.

He's gonna be nailing super-model looking Russian spies & Greek ninja any moment now. :D

what kind of degenerate a-hole hits a blind kid in the face?

I was just thinking that. Whoever punched him must have been a real douche, which makes it all the more awesome that he fought back using his powers.

At home his mother let him play with no restrictions. "If he fell, she would just say, 'Oh, he fell,' and he'd get up and try again," says his kindergarten teacher Ann Akiyama. "I've seen him run full speed into the edge of a big brick column and get back up. He was fearless."

Honestly, I'm sure the echolocation is useful but I thin kthat's the key to much of what he does.

He probabyl falls of his skateboard more often than a sighted kid might - but he gets back up and hops on it again.

Plus it makes him sound even more like DD.

Wouldnt; it be cool if he were the new DD?

what kind of degenerate a-hole hits a blind kid in the face?

And what makes it sadder, is the ass got caught by a blind kid. What kind of boy can't dodge a blind kid?

A boy stupid and mean enough to hit a blind kid in the first place... basically, someone who'll hit you when you aren't looking. That he got his just deserts from his own victim is... priceless. :D
