I've only very recently starting watching "Minoriteam." When it first came out, I thought the premise was ridiculous; but when I thought about it more, it's nowhere near as bad as "Chappelle's Show" in terms of comedic racism, and its basic theme was to parody the old "Super Friends" cartoons. So, earlier this year, I started watching it, and the show's been absolutely hilarious.

Tonight's show was the best episode ever, because it didn't just parody "Super Friends," it mimicked one of Marvel's greatest creations, Galactus. Balactus is the craziest, most gimmicky "blaxploitation" version of a cosmic devourer of worlds imaginable. Everything from funk music playing as he trampled Corporate City, to him stuffing random items into his giant tech-fro to create his doomsday weapon.

This show doesn't get the popularity it deserves. :p

One dead week. Proof enough. :p

The second part of the Balactus episode was on eight minutes ago, and it was every bit as hilarious as the first one. Homages to Barry Allen's Flash and Pre-Crisis Superman abound as Fasto had to travel faster than the speed of light by tapping into his black rage to go back in time and find out Balactus's true name.

He also builds his own Projects of Solid-tude with a can of black eyed peas, but watches it go into urban decay in the ten minutes it takes for him to beat Balactus. Awesome. :p

I'll give the show some love. :)

I haven't seen the second part of "Balactus" yet, but it should be on soon enough.

I, too, didn't think this series had much going for it, but they won me over in the episode where Fasto went to Asgard.

Where's it on?

I've never heard of it before, but it sounds like a riot!

Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. I can take it or leave it. I get the point...I just think that the show is too over the top and heavy handed(like Boondocks). I appreciate what it is doing and the Kirby-esque style, but I find the characters and voices way to annoying though the villains are the funniest part of the show. It is just not enough for me to view it on a regular basis.

Man, what is it with Adult Swim and making the villains usually better than the heroes?

Aqua Teen.......Venture Bros.......Minoriteam......

It's because they aren't really villainous. It's a comedy show, so the villains are as much main characters as the heroes. Which is why a lot of people would watch "Venture Bros." for King Gorilla and The Monarch instead of Brock, Doc Venture and the kids.

I know I'd watch a show that's just about The Monarch and his henchmen. :)
