What is the best, most comprehensive Donna Summer greatest hits CD? Is it Donna Summer: Gold?

Not sure. I have very little familiarity with her work save for "I Feel Love" the Giorgio Moroder produced single which was a hallmark of electronic music. That is such a brilliant a song, and it paves the way for his work in From Here to Eternity.

It's certainly the collection I own.

Honestly I can't think of any major piece of her work that isn't on that set.

So would it be worth checking out?

Did There Will Always Be A You get a lot of radioplay in the rest of the country? It was played for years on the local soft rock station. I wonder why it hasn't made it to the greatest hits collections.

I'd like to hear the Christmas record that got re-released in 2005.

Oh absolutly.

Summer has an awsome voice and her music holds up really well.

What's she up to now, I wonder? I always liked her sound.

Also - and I know this has nothing to do with her music - she always came across to me as a nice, likeable person, even while they were trying to market her as a sex symbol.

Whichever compilation contains the Full-length version of Love to Love You Baby (You'll know what I mean if you've heard it!;) ).
