Yes, in case the metalheads here don't get enough shit from stupid people, here comes another idiot making it that much tougher to be a metal fan. Seems this brainchild who couldn't handle high school killed a female friend.

Can't wait to hear what crying wimpy ass BS sob story his defense lawyer comes up with.

I looked at this asshole's MySpace. Dude is seriously anti-social and really needs to learn what a comma is. But there is no way anyone can blame this on music. This dude listened to everything. He has Alicia Keys, the Allman Brothers, Bob Dylan and Barry White on his list.

Odds are once they look into it and find out more facts it'll be that the guy flipped out because this girl wouldn't date him. She was his friend but his fucked up mind played it like " if she doesn't see me , she doesn't see anyone ! " and this is what happened.

It says he was gifted as an artist. What a damn waste of a life.

Is there an issue here with metalheads "getting shit"?
Anyway, I dont see the connection between the music & the murder.

He's got fricking AIR SUPPLY on his list.

Alabama, Alan Jackson. Ashlee Simpson.

I think he just listed stuff for the sake of listing stuff.

To quote the first papagraph and a bit Houston Chronicle (http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/4049661.html) reports that an 18-year old Texas heavy metal fan, whose MySpace profile (http://www.myspace.com/tormentedhaunt) opens with a blaring "Meaning in Tragedy" by AS I LAY DYING, is charged — along with his best friend and next-door neighbor — with murder in the death of a classmate, accused of shooting her in the head and burying her body in a shallow grave.

Sean H. Brown (photo (http://images.chron.com/photos/2006/07/12/2864735/311xInlineGallery.jpg)), whose MySpace profile features a black background with swirling white skulls,

Basically if people who listen to heavy metal are more likely to commit violent crime. Same as rap music. They are trying to tie his music interest into violence because we all know violence never existed before heavy metal, rap and video games.

OK, I missed the newzpaper link on the blabb report.
But, the other kid had a country-western song on his myspace.
Looks just like poor & unprofessional reporting.
