Question about the new Spidey 3 Poster

ok heres the new official spiderman 3 teaser poster

now i like the concept of the new concept. being that the symbiot just covers his old costume and makes it black. so if thats the concept of the new suit then how does it change the spider symbol on his chest? stupid question but if the symbiot can change his emblem then why cant it just become how it should look? with the all black and white spider.

They probably want to keep it somewhat closer to classic Spidey duds to be recognizable to the non comic fans when they market the film.

They could also be saving like many rumours have suggest the traditional black costume for Venom and it helps diffrentiate the two characters. Especially when they are played by two actors that are the same size. And Venom having teeth is probably not enough ;)

Another reason the costumes bonds with Peter when he's wearing his regular duds and it simply merges with the old costumes. Also Peter may have no good reason to change his overall appearance (wasn't the costume in the comics inspired by Spider girl).

Also the classic suit looks good in black especially with all the webbing textures. The overall lack in detail in the old costume might not look as good on film. I don't buy the theory they did it to save money. I think the comic black costume would be cheaper to make then the classic costumes in black since they still have to make new Spider-man costumes with all that detail plus the slight emblem change. I'm pretty sure they aren't factory made a few people have to make those costumes by hand.

Also I like the spider emblem change. Did not notice that before. That's kind of a neat subtle touch.

It looks that way because Raimi wanted it that way. I think it looks awesome; I could care less if they symbiote doesn't look the same as the comics.

And you'd have to be a complete idiot to think they kept the design for the black costume in order to save money. We're talking about one of the biggest film franchises of all time...

My guess is the emblem grows when Eddie bonds with the costume. Apparently he won't won't have webs but sort of a web of veins over his body just to give the costume more texture.
