What's the story behind London Night Studios?

Are they still around or not? Do they still publish new comics, or just reprint old ones?

And how did Avatar come to acquire most of their characters (Razor, Hellina, etc.)? Did Avatar buy them outright, or are they just on loan? What's the connection between London Night and Avatar?

Just something I've been wondering about for some time.

London Night has been gone for years. Avatar has been actively seeking talent and properties since the beginning. They probably bought the rights or have an agreement with the owner(s). Hellina was published by Lightning Comics originally, not London Night. Hey, you can only sell so much T& A sex, after that you have to rely on T&A mixed with gore and violence.

I've figured it out. My mistake. My online comic service sometimes includes back issues in their order form. They included a bunch of London Night comics, and I got confused.
