Hello Spider Team,
Before I get started, Yes I think I am very special. So, special that I started my own thread.
Maybe I have seen more mean than kind word about the current Spider Man and I am jumping the gun since I don't come here often. I am sure the others here will let me know.
Short story. I am not a loyal Spider Man reader. I like Spidey don't get me wrong but I have been more of an X fan over the years thanks to well, Spider Man and His Amazing Friends. That was the show that turned me from DC to Marvel and where I still call home. Lately I haven't felt X-cited. So I have been looking around Marvel and DC. After reading his HOM, The Other, and his adventures with New Avengers and other teams like the Runaways I have become more of a Spider Man fan. I don't know why he wasn't before, maybe a little bias, but right now with the current writers and the new look Spider Man is my main books to read. I know this is just my point of view and just another opinion but I just felt I had to post this.
You guys can't please everyone here even though you try. But, if it counts, at least one guy loves what you have been doing. Well, at least since HOM. I hope you get a action figure made of the current version of Spider Man, this is my favorite. I thought it was a flavor of the week but when I saw the traditional when he unmasked I found myself still partial to the new costume.
The colors are perfect but think the legs could use some work. Anyway.
Like any fan I have a wish. I know you will do what you feel you have to. Right now I am a happy fan and others are throwing a hissy fit. And I can't remember my last hissy fit, a few minutes ago I think:D just kidding.
But I might have one if you guys (JOE) divorce Peter Paker and MJ.
That's one of the things I have liked about Peter Parker is that with all the crap he goes though he has the girl next door for his wife. It's like the higher power using MJ along with May as a balance to Peter's hell of a life.
I think it would set a bad example for kids. If Peter Parker can't hold his marrige together than who can?
If the Peter/MJ break up is in the cards then so be it. But I just got on the Spider Man train/bandwagon and I wanna see what happens.

Ultimate Spider Man, just read all the vol.s that's out there over the past few weeks....not bad at all...liked the Kitty/Peter :p ...hey better late than never.
