I've read on Wikipedia that Spider-man 1 and 2 have different suits. Is that true?

I thought they were exactly the same. If someone's got shots from both films that would be good.

OBVIOUSLY, things change a bit in the third one. I at least noticed that

I believe there were slight alterations to the design, nothing too noticable.

In a physical sense, the suits used during the filming of 2 were not the same ones used during the filming of 1.

OBVIOUSLY, things change a bit in the third one. I at least noticed that  The changes are very subtle and almost non-noticeable but from what I've seen, the eye pieces are silver in Spider-Man 2 whereas in the first they were more white and less reflective. The eye pieces also seem a bit smaller in the 2nd based on it's placement.

Spider-Man's costume red color in the 2nd seems brighter with a slight tinge of orange which gave it a different contrast from the blue. It's tough to say for sure if it's the costume or the cinematography since usually the better the film quality gets over the years, the better the colors come off on screen.

Notice the black outline around the eye pieces which have a better shape in the 2nd and pop out a bit more than the ones in the first.

Both spider emblems on his chest and back are a bit different in the 2nd compared to the first since the spider on both the chest and back are more ornate. The arms widen more where it was previously more narrow, simpler, and yet closer to the comics one:

I think the webbing is also more light reflective in the 2nd.

On the siper-man 2 dvd there is a feature on the bonus disk about the costume.

The guy who did the costume says that there are some 30 + changes i think.

I think the main one was the texture up close and the spider.

In the DVD extra for two they talk about this.

If I remember correctly the changes boil down to...

Different material for the webs (not obvious at all).

Slightly different web patterns, esspecially around the hands.

Changes to the spider symbols on the chest and back.
They talked a lot about those for composition of shots.

I think the red was a very slighlty different colour too, but with all the colour corrections and lenses that get used I don't know why they would bother with that.

type in spiderman 3 in wikipedia for stills of the third movie and a cool poster of spidey's chest turning black.
