If you could make your own Avengers team with the addition of two non Marvel characters, who would be on that roster? My roster would be this:
Captain America
Spiderman
Spider woman
Luke Cage
Arsenal
Supergirl
Wolverine

How could you go wrong with that team?

Cap
Wonder Woman
Iron Man
Thor
Spider Woman
Spider Man
Martian Manhunter
Luke Cage

I want Wonder Woman on the team because, it is about time that the Avengers had a powerful female character. Plus, it would be great to have a Thor and Wonder Woman relationship. Martian Manhunter will be there for his telepathic abilities.

The marvel characters don't really matter. The Dc character's I would love to see is Jade and Elongated Man. Why becuase they are very underused at Dc and bring powers and persona's that marvel lacks.

I've got a series of fan-fic stories set in the not-too-distant Marvel future (next Sunday A.D.!). Originally, the Firebird (Bonita Juarez) that is currently in the MU was going to be a supporting character since she is immortal. But because it was very difficult to find material on the web, she was changed to the Jay Faerber character from the Image universe, Rebecca Reed from Firebirds.

Marvel HAS powerful female characters, but none has the prestige that Wonder Woman has in the DC Universe. Many Marvel fanboys literally cannot fantom that WW is the equivalent of Thor in the MU. Of course, Marvel can't subsidize a solo female book to the extent that DC has been able to do with Wonder Woman, but they CAN take a character from their stable and beef up her character. You probably think I'm going to advocate She-Hulk, but I think Ms. Marvel is probably better suited for this. Besides, Carol has the best uniform of any superheroine in the MU!

By powerful, I don't only mean strength wise. I also mean presence. Sorry I didn't clarify. Wonder Woman is on par with the big boys at DC. I mean, she can get in their face, and they would actually listen to her. There really isn't any female like that on Marvel. Like you said though, I hope they continue their direction with Ms. Marvel. I think she can take on that role.

Captain America
Thor
Iron Man
Hawkeye
Scarlet Witch
Photon
Sherlock Holmes (every team needs a detective sleuth)
Dr. Who (indispensable for time travel missions)

Cap
Captain Atom
Spidey
She-Hulk
Beast
Green Arrow
Wasp

Wouldn't it be fun to see crusty ole Ollie Queen on the Avengers? I bet him and Beast would be a fun pair. Capt. Atom woulcd be kind of interesting with his time lost/military background like Capt America.

Captain America
Namor
Thor
Black Widow
Invisible Woman
Arsenal
Nightwing

Clint Barton would show up at their headquarters one night and run into Arsenal. They'd hit it off immediately, and head out to a bar to hit on chicks.

Captain America
Falcon
Hercules
Luke Cage
Spider-Woman(Drew)
Nu'Bia
Captain Thunder(from Pre-Crisis Earth-1)

They would fight with Cap's anti-reg team in the MU against the Iron Man's pro-reg team.

Here's my thought on this:
Captain America
Spiderman
Spiderwoman
Luke Cage
Iron Man
Troia and wait for it........
POWER GIRL

I think these two would be better as Avengers than a booty call for Mr. Terrific & dust collector! Get the hint!
